heh. merlin. years after the fact.
1. I'm deep into my Merlin revival. Why, oh WHY, didn't I pay more attention to the fic when the show was on? (Okay, yes, possibly because the show is not the fandom, and fandom is almost always better than the show and....yadda yadda yadda.) Still.
2. If you're in the mood, I'd point you to Drugstore Flowers which is a sweet, but not quite too sweet, college AU. I'd also point you to For Your Information which is...I'm not sure, actually, but sort of an odd little fic? At least very unlike any I've read. It's a modern day AU with a newly out Arthur, an Uther who is trying to be supportive in a hilarious and faily way, and Merlin as the gay guru. It's equal parts touchy and cracky in a completely real sort of way.
3. Then (and this fic gets it's own number!), I'd definitely read (for about the 10th time) Hidden Light. Wow. It's imagery is gorgeous, and the moments are amazing and colorful and beautiful and PERFECT.
4. Football season! The Man and I screamed at the TV today which is always fun, especially when our faces exactly matched the faces in the audience when the quarterback basically fumbled the hike and lost the game. WHAT.
