Inspired by jeejeen...
I'm making gnocchi tonight... Potatoes are steaming away merrily in the kitchen, just waiting to be fluffed up and kneaded by yours truly and turned into lovely little gnocchi. At least, that's the plan anyway. It seems dead-simple, really!
And then a cheesy parmigiano-peccorino-mozarella-provolone sauce to go with it and a few leaves of arrugola, for ornamental rather than taste-related purposes, really.
Trick is, what on Earth should one drink? I'm leaning towards a dry white Elsassian pinot noir... Hopefully it should be able to cut through all the cheese, but it's anyone's guess, really.
Anyway; this is one of those nights where Ditlev is all Don't you EVER find a boyfriend, Soren!!! I suppose that's meant as a compliment to my cooking... LOL
