But, It Had a Great View of Lake Union!

forensicanthgrl got me swimming lessons at the Downtown YMCA for Christmas.
Today was my first day.
I had a great time.
I'm learning to float and breath in the water.
I don't think I'll go very far with swimming.
But, I'm having fun and it is something that is good to know, just in case.
I used to swim a lot when I was a kid but not very well and never very seriously.
The last time I had swimming lessons I think I was 12.

Cousin Dave is in Phoenix AZ until the 18th.
He gave me a key and asked me to look after the place while he was gone.
It is strange to sit on that couch again and watch that TV again.
Although he gets fewer channels now.
I have a lot of fond memories of that place.
But, I think I have changed quite a bit since then.

It is customary around this time of the year to make resolutions.
Often I have resolved to be more goth, what ever that means.
But usually that means that I indulge in some self destructive or self depreciating behavior.
This year I think I'll go the other.
I think I'll indulge in some self constructing activity.
I just can't seem to give up the art, clothes, and music though.
