and rickrolling, that too

Unadvertised on the interwebs, I sauntered up to Seattle for the weekend. We did stuff! Highlights included:

-Spying Luigi Largo on the street while we were walking. Seriously, it was a shirtless man covered in blood - he was surrounded by cops. I have no idea what was going on, but lol, Luigi.
-Going to the Seattle Marrakesh with Sarah, Cynthia, and Matt. I think I like the Portland one a little better, but still. Mm, Marrakesh. (I got the apricot chicken, which was on special. It was delicious. Slightly less sweet than the honey and prunes dish - no surprise - and yellower both in actual color and in taste.) There was an unexpected bellydancer. She danced with a sword. ♥
-Hitting up Anthropologie and Nordstrom for girly gleeing over shoes, little dresses, and number/letter cups.
-Discussion of appliances, their anthropomorphic forms, and the shipping thereof. (Washer/dryer is canon.)
-Fabric store of eeeeee. Oh, the sheer fabrics! (I want to make a big, sheer circle skirt. I think it would be fuuuun to wear.)
-Babeland. I continually marvel at how yellow that shop is.
-Buffy. (We just watched through 'Ted' and are now up to 'Bad Eggs'. Buffy fans will know that Stuff Will Soon Go Down. I look forward to rewatching more soon.)
-I talked in my sleep, according to Sarah (I know I do it) thus:
A: *asleep* That is so epic.
S: What is?
A: Slugbug.
S: D<
-Started Tipping The Velvet, drew Eve and Lilith (yes, that Eve and Lilith), dreamed that we took Cynthia to Genki Sushi, dreamed something about a huge cross-shaped city, had a horrible dream that Stephanie Meyer had written lots of things, watched many silly videos. (Why are there so many Lion King/Repo vids?)

I got slammed with major headache, dizziness, and oog yesterday evening (proto-migraine, perhaps), so I stayed another night and caught early buses this morning. Missing them both by narrow margins and thus having to wait for the next ones would have caused me to miss my first class, but I got to school and discovered that it was canceled anyway. Hooray!

repo! the genetic opera, books, sewing, food, buffy, dreams, style, geeking, rl
