Aww, yeah. I just pounded my way through a pile of math, leaving me with only the paper that's due tomorrow in my immediate pieces of schoolwork to concern myself with.
Today started out blehhh, but evolved into a shiny thing with plenty of pleasing small things falling into place. It was remarkably warm and sunny, to boot. I felt as though I was wearing too many layers, which is a novel concept given how chilly it's been this winter.
This weekend was spent most marvelously up in Seattle; Sarah's mom took us out for Italian, which was incredibly delicious. (I had the gnocchi, served with pesto and pine nuts, and riso (strawberries, rice pudding, ladyfingers) for dessert.) We requested crayons and drew on the paper covering the tablecloth (color shifted Dai Li (sob no green) and Sokka with his boomerang, respectively) before we left. The Barnes & Noble up in the U Village is enormous.
Saturday we went out wandering through shops (Claymore 13 is miiiiine) before heading back to the apartment for Buffy-watching (one of us, one of us), epic phone shenanigans, and general dorkery. Sunday we hit up the crepe place that just opened outside her building - slowest. service. ever. They need about four more people making crepes, and crepe-making materials to match. I did, however, get a chance to play through the first case of Phoenix Wright. The mechanics of the game are really fun. We watched Repo...again...and lazed around for a good while.
Despite the onrushing doom promised by these next couple of weeks before the quarter ends, I'm feeling pretty cheery. Perhaps, if I am swift in typing up stuff about T.S. Eliot poetry, I shall have time to get some decent drawing in.
