Shopping
Went shopping with Skep yesterday, for my christmas presents, lol. It was a lot of fun, despite it being 'cut short' by parking tickets and the fact I didn't get out til later than hoped cos mother didn't tell me plans - AGAIN...
We parked up at the church and headed toward Salamanders. Discovered it's now separated into "Salamanders" and "Chaos", which are basically the two different styles they always sold. Turns out I've actually grown out of the "Chaos" side of things (gothy-type bits) and like a few bits in "Salamanders". The lady is so nice in there. I tried on a few bits, including a dress I loved but I'm not certain if I'll buy it or not. The shoplady was so sweet. Skep bought me a top there (which is SO warm and snuggly!) and I asked the shoplady if there was a chance of her ordering in the dress I liked if I come back and it's gone. She said that she's not certain as that style seems like more of a 'test' item and that the designer isn't actually selling many so they might not be doing it any more... then she got all embarrassed saying that it sounded like a sale pitch and went all embarrassed, which happened again when she told me that I did look nice in the dress... it was cute ^_^
Then I popped into FCUK while Skep had a look in Gamestation to see if there was anything worth buying/trading his games for (I dunno why he bothers, he knows what's there really! Just can't accept that there's nothing worth buying atm, lol) and then poked him and dragged him to Officer's Club cos I remembered that their jeans are comfy (at least they are when Skep's been wearing them...) and cheap! Infact I picked up at pair by the door that were only £11! You're often lucky to get t-shirts for that much in lady shops! Then grabbed another paif for £24 and asked to try them on, feeling a little silly. Turns out men jeans don't fit as nicely as I'd hoped... Skep then rang James to find out where he was and he'd just gotten to the Co-Op car park, so we walked down and I managed to convince Skep to pop into Monsoon quickly to see the dress I loved there... but it wasn't there any more :( Will be looking for it in my size today
Met up with James in Game and spent WAY too long looking at games. Mostly cos Skep was faffing around hoping this guy in a wheelchair would "magically" move away from the games... *slaps forehead* Personally I'd have asked if he'd mind moving out of the way, but I suggested he tried looking around the guy and he'd probably move. Sounded like they'd ended up having a conversation about the games and Skep made a decision on the game he was gonna get, so 'yay'... ;P Some stupid car game, lol
Then we went to get James some bits and decided on getting lunch at the sandwich place I like at the top of the shopping centre. Not that I was eating anything... but Skep didn't want McDonalds and I know that he likes that place too :3 I got a Solero, which made James laugh :) I then took them around different shops; The Body Shop, Bay (bought two tops), Faith... they popped into the 3 shop and I took a look around Top Shop (fluffy coats for £40 XD), Accessorize... at which point James was bored of following me around and went to get money and Skep and I went into Boots to get the make up and perfume I was planning on getting eitherway. While we were in there James called to say his parking ticket was running out soon and where should we meet him... so I said we might as well go and meet him at Skep's. And that was that :)
When James arrived at Skep's we played Guitar Hero III with a girly who has the hair colour I really want and discovered I have much practice to do (ie- I suck, but Skep won't let me say that!)
Today I'm going with Mum and Cyan to Manchester to take Brook to Uni and go shopping :) Should be fun... I hope. If my mood swings don't get in the way :/
