substitute machine
As I continue to push forward with my sewing for Youmacon, I had a major setback today. My sewing machine ceased to function. It jammed up in a new way and then refused to pick up the bobbin. A call to Joann's was informative yet frustrating. According to the lady, my machine most likely has a timing problem and thus will not function until a professional looks at it. Trouble is that using the repair service there is a 7-10 day wait, which means I wouldn't finish a thing. Additional frustration came from every sewing machine repair place I found via a google search was closed. Though I will call places tomorrow and see.
As a solution to my epic problem, I am now using my mom's old sewing machine. I pray that it will survive what I need it to do in the next week or I'm doomed.
