monday night change up

With Chuck and Heroes on hiatus due to the Writer's Strike (*stares at the greedy conglomerates* Suck it up and agree to pay everyone already!), I wanted to find something that Dad and I could do to continue our Monday nights together.

Right now we are watching Firefly. Something I started with him a while ago and now we finally have a chance to finish it. Last night we saw Safe and Our Mrs. Reynolds. Hahahahaha OMR is such a fantastic episode. Dad was having a grand time dispite feeling a little under the weather.

Once the Firefly fun was over, I settled down to watch *gasp* new tv, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I caught the first part on Sunday and made sure to watch the second. I'm enjoying this show already. I've got Summer Glau being River-ish and breaking everything alongside Thomas Dekker, better known as Zach from Heroes. Oh and there's some woman playing Sarah Connor. ;p

I really like the Terminator universe, so more is good. While there is some speculation that this show is ignoring T3, I like to think of it as an interesting middle ground between T2 and T3.

Here's hoping that Fox doesn't screw this up and that it can continue with new material when they run out of episodes and the Writers finally get what they deserve.

firefly, writer's strike, family, terminator:tscc, tv
