christmas wrap up

Dec 31, 2007 00:00

This year's Christmas was a bit more pleasant than last year despite me being sick.

While this isn't the best picture, here is our tree. The decorations are handmade snowflakes made by my grandmothers and white lights set to twinkle.

While I still was missing mom, this year it wasn't so hard. It's been said repeatedly, time heals all wounds and that is such a true strike.

I can't remember exactly when this started, but it all spawned from my difficulties in waiting to open presents on Christmas day. It was decided that I would give my family gifts from me on Christmas Eve which did a good job of tiding me over.

As promised here are the things I made for my dad and my sister.

As usual larger versions can be found over here.

As for my gift haul, the highlights are a sweet Wii hoodie, Muppet Show season 2, the retro handset from think geek and lots of monetary gifts. Many thanks to my dad, sister and extended family for their gifts and thoughts.

If you haven't already, please take a moment to read about the camel costume that added something special to this year's festivities.
