I saw James Morris in Dayton on Thursday and he was phenomenal. James Morris, in case I didn't write about this before, is one of the best opera singers in the world. A few days back, I sent an e-mail to my friends to see if they wanted to go see Amadeus with me. I described the play this way, "It's the story of Beethoven as told by a jealous rival." This year for my birthday I decided to do two things.  I caught King Lear at the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company yesterday and today I went to the zoo.  In other words I had a fifty year old's birthday one day and a five year old's the other.  That averages to about 25, right?
