I AM NOT DEAD
I am...completely horrified at how long it has been since I posted. I had NO idea it'd been this long. My only excuse is that real life COMPLETELY got from me and I'm only now getting caught up.
December: My community choir had a few wonderful performances. I went to Mexico with my (wonderful amazing handsome) boyfriend (whom I love dearly) and got to spend time with his family and get to see the town where he grew up. Fun story: On our way down (we drove) they closed all the roads in New Mexico due to a freak snow storm, and our whole caravan had to stop at a hotel for the night until they reopened.
January: A close friend went to serve a religious sabbatical to teach others to come unto Christ. We sent her out at the beginning of January. She is serving in Spain, and I am so very proud of her. She is having a little trouble learning the language, but she seems to be having a good time. We're putting together an Easter care package to send her....any ideas?
February: I quit my stressful call center job where I was doing tech support for the iPhone. It was just too much. I was working 45+ hours a week and I didn't get to choose my schedule, and wasn't able to spend time with my family or boyfriend. I have since been looking for a new job. Not having much luck, so I'm pretty stressed about that. Its hard to find something that pays enough but doesn't SUCK. I'm considering biting the bullet and just going back to applying for positions that hire at minimum wage. Which would seriously be lame.
March: My sister just turned 17. 17!!! This is so FREAKY. I can't believe it. I also got hit by a HUUUUUGE bug of some kind and was sick for four or so days. Knocked me COMPLETELY out of commission. Pretty much better, but the sore throat thing it came with it still giving me trouble. Not fun.
That seems like far less than actually how it is, but you all know how real life is. Its the little things in between.
I've made a resolution to write something by the end of the month. As it is, I have one, possibly TWO writing projects I will put up that are already written
In happy times news....I AM GOING TO COMIC CON. I am still reeling in shock. I am SO excited, there aren't even words. My group is trying to work out at least one day of coordinated costumes. Anybody else going? Lemme know!
