About Twilight Series - Stephenie Meyer.

As usual, I got hooked on a book I said I wouldn’t. Although this time I didn’t actually say anything against it. I just couldn’t understand why so many people were excited about the movie being released. Well, I went to watch it without much enthusiasm and was gladly surprised by the fact that it was really interesting. Actually, I guess I was a bit more than surprised when I got out of the movie theater directly to the book store and bought not only Twilight, but also New Moon, the only two already released in portuguese here in Brazil. It took me two days to read each of them and now I’m anxious about Eclipse being release January 16th.

The story is really made for fun. Not really interested in making you believe in what she is telling you, though. Vampires and werewolves exist in this reality and we’ve got to get used to it if we want to keep reading. But the fact is that it’s possible to believe in Bella and Edward’s love. It’s so tender and innocent. I mean, there is so much going on that they’re relationship is almost platonic, except for a few kisses along the way. I guess it changes eventually, as I’ve read somethings about Eclipse and Break Dawn, and found that they end up married and enjoy they’re honey moon in Rio de Janeiro, before Bella getting pregnant. For me it’s more than weird, as I don’t usually read national authors because I don’t like books that feature Brazil, and I end up reading an American one that puts exactly my city as part of the scenery. O.o’

Anyway, I don’t like to recommend books, as I like some pretty strange things, but this is one I’m sure people might like. And judging from the thousands of books that have been sold, I guess I’m not alone in that.
