Wrong! It's all wrong!
Today I went Xmas shopping *bleh* not that I dislike Christmas in general, more the crowds of people it encourages. Going early on a Sunday didn't help much either: there was a parade through the town centre. Excellent timing, though that did mean I got to see the Spiderman Band, a marching band all dressed up as Spiderman with the Green Goblin as conductor - they've made me giggle since I was knee-high.
Anyway, the big GAH! of the day was when I spotted a New Zealand Natural logo in a café. Woohoo! thought I, I can take some L&P and hokey pokey home to Rob.. providing I don't drink/eat it all first.
It was not to be. Not only was the NZN counter lacking in both, but the staff had no idea what I was talking about. Then again they were neither Kiwi nor British, and English certainly wasn't their first language. Either way there was nothing in that café to differentiate it from any other in the area.
Hmph. Have now completed the appropriate feedback form to report this travesty of tastebud deprivation.
