well, i am alive here in spain. the weather is georgeous, and i love me some beach! my roomate is nice. he is tall half (dot) indian and according to Ilea is hot. whatever his friend is hott though. i start class monday where i will be learning all about spanish literature, syntax, and all of that fun stuff! i think i i've fixed it so that i won't have class on monday wednesday or friday. that will make tuesday and thusday a bitch, but that will give me more time to travel. it is nice here that i have two weeks of trial class before i have to finalize my schedule.
jenny pyles and ilea who also goes to OU came to valencia on wednesday and stayed over. it was really nice to see friendly, fluently american speaking people. we walked around the old city having a grand old time. we met up with sean who is also living in valencia and goes to OU that evening. with them i officially went to my first club ever. i also got my first alcholic drink at a club which was a rum and coke. they put a lot more alchol here in their drinks than we do in the states. i was ok though. it wasn't too much, so i didn't get drunk. alchol except for wine is rather expensive. it's 5€ for a drink which is like $7. that will keep me from becoming an alcholic.
