the goodies i promised
We arrived in Prague on Thurs night and stayed in the Hotel Imperial (a youth hostel that was really nice and relatively cheap). On Friday we walked around the town and window shopped, went to St. Nicholas' Church, the Infant of Prague shrine, the Cathedral by the castle, then headed back to the I of P for mass at around 4 pm. We had two hours before mass, so we sat and prayed and stayed close to the heaters to warm our hands (the attempt was not successful, although the heaters did lessen the suffering--not that I am complaining...). Mass was in Czech and I didn't understand a word of it. AFter mass, the priest had exposed the Blessed Sacrament and we sat there for 20 min in adoration. After that we went in search for a restaurant. We ate at Vivaldi's, an Italian restaurant. I had a Heineken and I didn't really like it.
