FLYDAY FRIDAY
Maybe I could get some stuff done IF I just stayed home but that's not happening!!! Friday we took some of Cecil B. Lee's art down to the Art Center to get framed. Anna, our framer, has been there for 45+ years and has become a good friend and she KNOWS frames and just what is needed for a piece and she is soooo creative! She had them (2 pieces, one my Anniversary gift...pics later) done by Saturday (talk about a great turn around!) so we picked them up and took another piece because Cec had become enamored of a ready-made frame he saw there.
While he was going through the frame rack, I turned around and Chang was staring at himself in a full length mirror that was near there. He was looking at himself and I imagined him thinking "What a handsome dog!" Hah! Cecil got his frame (it was perfect) and we headed out but all that took more time than imagined (it always does cuz neither Cec or I can shut up!) Then we went to Target to pick up a plastic storage cabinet for printing paper for the new Cannon.
As you may know, besides working on some new art jewelry, a new "spirit doll" and all that running around...I am still TRYING (the reason for the trip to Target) to organize my studio. And the garden is calling for pruning, planting, mulching so it may take me months to get the "crap" room (my Mom called hers that) done! Oh, I did get a new Dymo "Letra Tag" label-er. AWESOME and highly recommended if you are as OCD as me and need to know what is in all those storage boxes.
