Wow, there is.... really flat nothing to say about my life these past few weeks. A lot of small things, a lot of confusing mood swings, a lot of Joyce (FUCKING JOYCE). I got back into contact with Jonesy and got an apology that was long in coming. We had the beginnings of a reconciling conversation. I don't think he actually cheated on me; I think he wasn't lying about that. We'll never date again, but it was kind of him to say he missed me. If nothing else, it'll make getting my book back from him that much less awkward.
I've learned a lot of confusing and disappointing and sometimes encouraging things about the people I know. I've been here six months now; this is about the time that makes or breaks most friendships, I think. It's the time the First Crisis generally happens, where your trust is either irreparably shaken or proven well-founded. It's happened both ways - I've seen, for example, that the father of my owls and I will never be more than very, very casual friends. In the end, we diverge too much in too many important places. On the other hand, the DB and I are seriously considering moving in together, simply because we are so goddamn compatible that it would, in some ways, be like living with a clone whom I like better than myself.
It's sad when good things break; but it also means I've begun to settle into my real friends, my closest crowd, the people who will sling an arm over my shoulder when we're walking together and who are not afraid to slap my ass cheerfully as a greeting (because all true friendships involve inappropriate contact, don't you know).
Weather comments: It was 75 degrees yesterday and alternately stormy and completely clear, sometimes within the same thirty minutes. Today it's below freezing. This is, however, not as bad as two weeks ago, when we had (I shit you not) a 100-degree increase in the weather over three days.
Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooklahoma.
For lack of anything else to say, I think I'll just picspam the hell out of you. :D

The one good thing that has come out of Ecology: WE RELEASED ALL THE LADYBUGS. ALL OF THEM. 8D Best experience of the month: skipping around a greenhouse flinging handfuls of sleeping ladybugs into the air like groggy red-and-black confetti.
YEAH THERE'S A SPECIAL ROOM IN THE BASEMENT OF BIZZELL WHERE THEY KEEP ALL THE TRANSFORMERS. OKLAHOMABOTS, ROLL OUT. There should be a Transformer named "Tumbleweed" and he should be the guardian of OU and Michael Bay should make a movie about our epic adventures together and he should transform into the Sooner Schooner.
