Yesterday was a good day. I feel like I left all my stress behind me. It's back in last week, and I'm here. I hope the feeling lasts!
The dress fitting went really well. I think that's a big part of the reason I'm less stressed. Kelly (the seamstress) made two veils so I could try them both.. she's so sweet! We both decided on the second one, and she's going to bead to to match my dress. Also, we worked out a KICK ASS deal. You see, I was paying for all the Bridesmaid's alterations, shoes, jewelry, etc. Anyway, her husband knows Dan and I quite well (he's done work with Dan and he actually BUILT my store). They've got this half size coke cooler in their basement that doesn't work, and she said that if Dan wanted to fix it, she'd waive the cost of all the alterations, and we'd just call it even. That is SO KICK ASS! I love striking deals with people. I'm still going to bring her a huge gift basket from my mom's work, where they apparently go all the time.
We went to Dan's dad's house last night and had a bonfire. It was a really good time! His two little brothers are really excited for the wedding, and we kept making up dmb scenarios about what was going to happen, and who was going to drink too much.
