Speed Rant - Out of Print
Frustration, full steam ahead!
I brought vol. 1, 3 to 26 of Feng Yu Jiu Tian and plan to buy the 27th vol. Sadly, the precious volume 2...is out of print, out of stock and no one is willing to pry their hands off their copy. I'm desperate so I've started to spam book stores overseas (China, Hong Kong and Taiwan), in hope they have a copy somewhere deep in the back of their inventory (Though I highly doubt the outcome). Uei-shiang, the publisher has not indicated whether they will re-publish it either although I've pestered them about personally and via bookstores *snorts*.
The second book I've sought after (at a decent price) is more promising than the first book. Twelve Kingdoms: Sea of shadows. There are second hand copies, but they are being sold at ridiculous prices because it is out of print, and Tokyopop has folded. The ironic thing is I was contemplating whether to buy a hard copy that was new at a book store but had a scratch on it a year ago. Made the choice to pass on it...and now =__= that book is going 3 times the price and that's not even with shipping yet.
Anyone else with similar issues?
