Kyungsoo peers through the foggy window of the back seat inside the car, looking out into the open haze that had settled within the city this particular morning.

The weather created an atmosphere that the young lad was not used to, triggering an ominous feeling that begins to rise within him.

“Sir,” a voice calls out from in front of him.

The lad hums in response, his gaze never leaving the window.

“We’re here sir,” the same voice replies back.

The young man sighs before pulling his attention away from the window and grabs a hold of his briefcase. He looks up at the man sitting in the driver’s seat and opens his mouth. “You don’t have to pick me up after work today. I have errands to run.”

“Yes sir,” the driver says, nodding his head as he waits for the lad to get out.

He slowly approaches the hoary granite and stops in front of it, hovering over the gravestone as the rain pours down on him. A dejected, pained expression is shown upon his face as he harshly begins to ball one of his hands into a fist, dropping on his knees to the wet muddy ground.

Cries of sorrow escape the man’s lips as he places the bouquet of white chrysanthemums next to the gravestone and starts hitting the stone marker, hoping to release the pain and despair of continuous regret building up inside of him.

Why, Do Kyungsoo? Why?

He had been too stupid, too young, too naive, and too foolish to have seen where this would end up. He had been too immersed in himself. Wanting and caring only for himself, only thinking about his own happiness and needs to have blindly seen only good things. He had been so foolish and ignorant; so selfish and cruel to not have seen this coming.

You’re so selfish, Do Kyungsoo. You’re so selfish and foolish.

Kyungsoo violently and angrily jerks his hands towards the ground and claws at the grass, pulling the blades of grasses out as he throws them at the headstone.

“I’m sorry,” he quietly cries out desperately, slowly crawling towards the stone and hugging it gently, tears falling down from his eyes. “I’m so sorry.”

For everything, he says to himself, lacking the courage to voice it out.

Kyungsoo presses his face against the cold, wet stone marker, hoping that perhaps he could fall into a trance of sleep. He no longer cared if anyone came in here and saw him like this. Whether it be some stranger, his butler, his secretary, or by some chance, his mother, he didn’t care anymore. He no longer cared whether the fact that sitting beside a gravestone in the rain made him look crazy or not. He just wanted the pain to go away, for good. Kyungsoo takes one last breath and closes his eyes to block out the view of the world around him.

+ + + + +

The lad flutters his eyes open to find himself in his room. This is weird, he thinks to himself. Kyungsoo slowly and painfully attempts to prop himself into a sitting position but fails as a loud ring shoots through his ear accompanied by a pounding, throbbing headache.

“Sir,” his butler panics, rushing towards the man.

Kyungsoo hisses at the pain, holding his palm up. “I’m fine.”

His butler nods his head in response. “Is there anything I can get you?”

“No, it’s okay.” Kyungsoo says, attempting to sit up in his bed again.

How did I even get here? He thinks to himself. He clearly remembered being in the cemetery earlier. The last thing he remembered doing was lie against the cold, hard tombstone hoping his pain would go away. He remembered closing his eyes, not a care in the world, as he let the rain fall down on him, washing his sadness away.

But it never left. His pain didn’t, the sadness didn’t, nor did he himself.

Kyungsoo falls out of his trance of thoughts and shoots a look at his butler, “How did I get here?”

A look of hesitation is clear on his butler’s face before he clears his throat and responds back to Kyungsoo, “A co-worker brought you back.”

“A co-worker?” Kyungsoo rhetorically replies back.

There was a feeling of uneasiness in his stomach. Why would a co-worker bother bringing him home? Or as a matter of fact, even know where he was after work? Much less why would they even be at a graveyard site with him? Or the right question would be, what person in their right mind would even go to a burial ground on a dull and murky rainy day besides he, himself, of course?

Something wasn’t right and Kyungsoo didn’t like this feeling.

He throws his pillow aside as he shoots up from his bed, rushing over to his coat rack and blindly grabs the nearest jacket, putting it on as he dashes out his room.

“Sir!” His butler calls out from behind him in panic.

Kyungsoo bellows in annoyance, realizing that he had grabbed a thin jacket instead of a thick one.

The butler calls out again, chasing after Kyungsoo. “Sir! Where are you going?”

“It’s nothing. I’ll be back shortly.”

“What about your Mother, Sir? Madam specifically told me to keep you in your room all night.”

Kyungsoo quickly putting on a pair of dirty sneakers as grabs a hold of the doorknob. “Well, just tell her what I told you. ‘I will be back shortly.’”

“But madam told-” The butler’s voice rises in authoritative pitch as he fires back at the young lad.

Kyungsoo stops in his track and turns around to look at the butler, almost as if he is sending daggers the worker’s way. He answers back, lowering his voice as he enunciates each word slowly and carefully. “Tell my mother what I told you, ‘I will be back shortly.’ If she has a problem with it, that’s on her, not you nor me. Got it?”

That silences his butler, who nods his head and jerks his hands forward, motioning for Kyungsoo to leave before anyone comes by and sees the lad.

Kyungsoo shuts the wooden door behind him as he takes a step outside. He listens as the rain continues to fall into the midst of the night. Raising his hand to the hood of his jacket, Kyungsoo pulls it over his head and quickens his pace, rushing out of his estate. He takes a turn west of the entrance of his home and heads towards the direction of the burial ground. He wasn't sure why or how heading back to the cemetery was going to solve his case, but he was sure of something. He knew there was something there, a clue. He wasn't sure in particular of what it was, but he had a hunch. Whatever it was, it was waiting for Kyungsoo's return.

The guy slows down trying to catch his breath as he approaches the barred gates. The rain continues to pelt heavily against him, drenching Kyungsoo in the dark as its sound becomes the only thing accompanying the lad tonight. The boy looks through the opening of the gates and stares off into the field and freezes when something catches his eyes. Kyungsoo isn’t sure of what to do as he sees the dark shadow stand in an area he has come to memorize by heart.

Kyungsoo scrunches his nose up as he feels something coming.

“No,” he mumbles to himself as he closes his eyes and sneezes. He quickly opens his eyes to see that the silhouette has disappeared. He frantically searches the field and takes a hold of the metal bars, hesitating slightly in fear as he does so.

Kyungsoo knew better than this. He knew better than anyone, being raised in a well-off and mannered family, than to trespass, but tonight was different. He wasn't sure what it was that got into him tonight, but there was no holding back. Tonight was different. Something was lurking in there and he had to find out what it was.

His grip on the metal bars tightens as he lifts one leg off the ground, stretching it up to the horizontal rail of the gate, pulling himself up. Kyungsoo manages to pull his other foot off the ground onto the bottom rail as he climbs his way up the gate. He lifts his left leg up once more, depending on his right leg as support and balance for the rest of his body, as he stretches up for the next horizontal rail. Kyungsoo clenches his teeth, holding onto the bars tighter as he feels his grip beginning to loosen. He places his left foot in between two metal bars and settles it onto the second horizontal rail, pulling himself up. Kyungsoo brings his right foot up to set it on the second horizontal bar too, but miscalculates his grip.

“No,” Kyungsoo says quietly to himself as his eyes widen.

Panic runs through his body as he feels his right foot losing ground and his hands begin to loosen their grip on the bars. “Shit,” Kyungsoo yells to the open air.

In response, he quickly closes his eyes, hoping that ignoring and blocking out his surroundings and view would hopefully ease the oncoming pain. He continues to let his fall happen and waits for the hard impact onto the cemented ground but it never comes.

Did it really work?

Kyungsoo remembers reading something from a psychology book in the master library room that if you don’t look at your pain, it lessens the suffering. Although that would mostly apply to a situation dealing with cuts and injuries, Kyungsoo was thinking perhaps it would work with his situation as well. Maybe that’s why he was feeling no pain. He was blocking the pain out in the first place; blocking his surroundings, his fall, the obvious, out anyways. So, perhaps, he was okay?

Kyungsoo slowly opens his eyes back to reality. He furrows his eyebrows to block and reduce any incoming pain that would surge upon realizing his surroundings and situation.

What. The. Hell? Kyungsoo tells himself as he feels strong arms lock around his body. He looks up to see a face hovering over him and quickly jumps out of the person’s hold.

The guy looks up to see a tall guy blending into the gloomy night staring down at him. Kyungsoo is hesitant to speak up and backs away, fear suddenly creeping in him. Even as a kid, he was never one to let things frighten him, no ghost, no monster. That was why Kyungsoo was bold enough, maybe even crazy enough, to have come out here to the cemetery in the middle of the night. Curiosity always got the best of him and always served as his purpose for doing things he knew better than to do, but tonight, Kyungsoo was scared. He didn’t know what it was about this guy standing in front of him, but something about him was startling the lad.

He takes a look at the person in front of him, barely making out any clear features on the person’s face. However, he doesn’t miss that smile forming. He doesn’t miss the eerie glow from the eyes of the person. He doesn’t miss the way those lips curl into a sickening smirk. He doesn’t miss the ghastly breath of his as the person opens their mouth up. He doesn’t miss that low, raspy voice speaking to him, “If I were you, I would run.”

And he does.

Kyungsoo runs away from the scene, he runs away from the cemetery, away from the guy. He isn’t sure where he’s going. This wasn’t the way home, he obviously knew it. The person, that black figure, had been in his way. But he had to get out. He had to find safety. He needed to get away.

+ + + + +

This was strange.

Kyungsoo awakens to the sound of rain dripping outside and finds himself in a peculiar room that he has never been in before. A room in the color of white surrounds him, making Kyungsoo’s head hurt. It wasn’t that he didn’t like the color, but the color was painted across the room and tinting each and every object in the room, from the wall to the bed and its sheets, to the drawer and nightstand, and everything made him feel uncomfortable and out of place.

He clutches his eyes shut and brings his face to the palm of his hand to cease the throbbing pain. His actions quickly stop as he hears the rattling of the door to the room. Kyungsoo eyes shoot up to the door and watch as it opens. The door opens to reveal fairly tall, young lad with sun-kissed skin staring at him. His dark-lit eyes glare at Kyungsoo, scrutinizing the male on the bed before softening their gaze and shutting his eyes, thinking. He brings a hand up to his hair and grazes it through his blonde locks.

Crossing his arms, he lets out a soft sigh and opens his eyes to stare once more. “Are you okay?”

Kyungsoo is a little taken aback by the concern in the guy’s voice and stutters to find the right word, “Y-yeah. I am.”

“Good,” the guy replies back as he walks inside the room and towards Kyungsoo.

The man in bed watches as the other walks to the drawer and pulls out some clothing. The man then walks toward Kyungsoo and lays them on top of the nightstand next to the lamp. He looks down at Kyungsoo and only continues to analyze the former. The guy shakes his head and turns around as he walks back towards the door. On a sudden impulse, Kyungsoo grabs the guy’s shirt and stops him from walking further.

“J-Jongin?" the former says with hesitation as he grips hard on the guy’s shirt.

The guy’s hand moves to touch Kyungsoo’s and pushes it away. “I’m sorry but you must be mistaken. I’m not that name you’re calling out for.”

Kyungsoo sits there silently and mumbles to himself as the guy walks out. “Of course…..”

Of course you’re not. You aren’t Jongin. Why would you be Jongin?

But was it too much to hope for that.

Kyungsoo sighs and falls back onto the bed. He looks over to the change of clothing that had been placed onto the nightstand earlier and lets out a sigh. The guy pulls the blanket over his head.

Whatever. Maybe later.

Kyungsoo steps out of the room dressed in a white v-neck and grey sweat pants hanging loosely on his small frame. He isn’t used to this kind of attire, as this is something out of his style, out of his usual comfort zone, out of his status and reputation. Something someone of higher hierarchy and power wouldn’t wear. However, he doesn’t miss the freshness of the cotton filling his nostrils, not expecting the guy to give him something of pristine condition.

His eyes wander the living room, and he finds himself welcoming nothing but continuous white objects. There was nothing much occupying the room except for a couch that fit only two, maybe three people, and a small coffee table placed directly in front of it. Kyungsoo stares at something intently, his eyes never leaving it as curiosity sparks his attention. There along the wall is an almost completely empty bookcase with only a few books that are lying down and stacked on top of one another. He squints at it confusingly. Why does someone who only owns a few books in their possession have a bookcase? Whatever. It wasn't any of his business to be wandering about the what or why of some stranger he didn't even know. He shakes his head and looks away from it, not minding it as he continues exploring the apartment.

The petite male opens the closet door and finds the washing and drying machine. He opens the drying machine and quickly grabs his clothing. Of course this was rude, but hell, what was even more rude was the stranger who had brought him here. Sure, the guy had courtesy in letting Kyungsoo stay here for the night and sure, he lent Kyungsoo some clothes for the meantime, but still, there was something off about this.

The way the tall stranger acted was off and weird. Kyungsoo didn’t like it. He’s seen enough movies to have known that strangers who at least brought you to their apartment would tell you their name, maybe....or maybe not. The more Kyungsoo thought about this, the creepier it was starting to sound to him. He should just put on his clothing and get out of this place. The more he was enclosed in this white interior designed apartment, the more bizarre and surreal it was getting.

He runs to the bathroom, quickly switching out of the stranger’s clothing back into his. Kyungsoo breathes a sigh of relief, “Much better.”

As the guy walks out of the bathroom with the folded clothing in his hand, his attention is drawn to the stranger coming in from the front door. The stranger is drenched in rain as he stands there in front of the door, staring at Kyungsoo through the hood of his jacket. Kyungsoo stares back at the man and scans him from head to toe, eyes stopping on his hand that was holding a plastic bag filled with food, of course. Kyungsoo could smell the scent of the food flowing his way, and although he was one to despise and hate take-out, his stomach had a mind of its own as it rumble out loud, filling the silent air with its sound.

Unexpectedly and much to Kyungsoo’s surprise, the stranger lets out a laugh that was rather pleasant to the former’s ears, and puts his hood down.

“I’m not stopping you if you want to leave,” the words coming from the stranger. “But I’m not sure what your stomach has to say about it.”

Kyungsoo squeezes his eyes shut in embarrassment before opening them back up to look at the man, “T-Thank you for the stay then.”

The stranger waves his hand to dismiss the gratitude and brings the food towards Kyungsoo’s way. The latter’s stomach rumbles again causing the stranger to let out another laugh.

‘Goddamit Kyungsoo,’ the male tells himself as he slowly turns around to catch the stranger’s walking back. “Mmm maybe-”

“I won’t stop you either.” The stranger tells him.

“So…you’re probably wondering why I brought you here?” The stranger asks Kyungsoo, stopping in the middle of his eating. “Found you on the side of the road. Pretty sure I could have left you out there in the night while the rain was pouring down hard on you, maybe you would have woken up, sick and well...you’d probably know how the rest could end like.”

Kyungsoo silently eats, thinking about what the stranger had said and then barks back. “Why didn’t you?”

“Because,” the stranger says with gleam in his eyes. “You looked pretty cute back there."

The petite male stares at the stranger oddly causing the stranger to laugh in response.

“Relax. I have some amount of human decency in me. I’m not that cruel of a person nor do I just pick up cute random strangers.” The strangers tells Kyungsoo as he gets up from the table.

“Oh,” the man with sun-kissed skin utters out loud, stopping in the middle of his track. His voice becomes smoky and thick as his gaze begins to harden. “I want you to leave after this. This is the most courtesy I can offer you.”

Kyungsoo is left baffle at the change of personality and watches as the uncanny man begins to walk away from the dining table. “Wait! I-”

“You don’t need to thank me,” the guy tells the lad in a rough and unpleasant voice. “And most of all, you don’t need to know my name.”

+ + + + +

Kyungsoo sits behind the mahogany desk with his elbows propped on the furniture, hands clasped together as his chin rests on them, lost in thoughts. The words the stranger tells him never leaves his head once, engraving themselves in the back of his head. “You don’t need to thank me. And most of all, you don’t need to know my name.” Too deep in thoughts, he doesn’t notice the surrounding or his secretary calling out his name as he continues to be stuck in the trance he was already in.

“Chairman Do,” a thin voice continues to call out, slightly frighten by the silent demeanor.

The latter shakes his head out of his half-conscious state and gives the man a look. “Yes?”

The man standing in front of him walks slowly, frighten of what the young lad could do or what sudden outburst can happen. Kyungsoo was not one to act cold, act up at work or yell in public like the other bosses here. In fact, the secretary knew the lad was not one to show himself in sullen mood, but today wasn’t like that. He could sense it, having work with the young lad for over seven years now, he knew how Kyungsoo was. Having watch him grow and staying by his side, he knew Kyungsoo’s story. The secretary knew why he was like this, of all day.

Clutching the yellow envelope in his hands, the secretary shakes his head to void himself of any fear and ridiculous thoughts. He places the envelope on his desk and begins to speak, “Here’s the information you requested. Enclose in the envelope contains data from the last five months of stock investments in Prodom.”

Kyungsoo’s eyes soften as his shoulders droop, “Thank you, Joonmyun.”

Joonmyun smiles and turns around to leave but stops in his track. His voice lowers as he turns around to look at Kyungsoo, “Oh. And your mother is aware and has asked me to tell you to stop. So I hope you don’t go today.”

Kyungsoo bore holes into his secretary’s back as he watches the man walk out of his office. His eyes harden as he furrows his brows. He was going today and no one was going to stop him.

The petite lad rushes out the door of his office as soon as the big hand of the clock on his wall strikes five. He surprises his secretary by the sudden haste as the door flings open, echoing through the empty corridors. Joonmyun eyes widen as shouts after his boss, trying to stop the latter.

“Chairman Do,” Joonmyun screams out, running after his boss. “Stop.”

Kyungsoo ignores the older man though as he continues running down the hall, running towards the elevator door.

“Chairman Do,” Joonmyun says as he catches up to his boss, stopping the elevator door from closing. “Your mother has forbid you to go there. Please don’t go.”

Hoping his secretary would leave, Kyungsoo rolls his eyes as he presses on the “door close” button continuously, trying to shut the door and leave as soon as possible. His secretary was delaying him and he no longer had the patience to wait for his assistant to finish talking nor did he want to listen to the man continue talking. Nonetheless, Joonmyun doesn’t get the hint. He barges himself in as he seizes hold of his boss’s wrist, trying to pull the latter out.

“Get out right now, Kyungsoo!” Joonmyun commands, dropping all formality with superior.

Kyungsoo looks at Joonmyun in shock as he jerks his hand free, “Excuse me?”

“I’m telling you, don’t go!” Joonmyun pleads as his boss gives him a harsh glare.

“Let me be!” Kyungsoo yells at Joonmyun as he walks back into the elevator, pushing Joonmyun away from him.

Joonmyun eyes darken as he looks at Kyungsoo seriously, challenging the latter. “This isn’t good, Kyungsoo. I am warning you, this is for your own safety, you need to stop going there.”

Kyungsoo feels almost offended by the guy’s message, not wanting his opinion or say on what he should and should not do.“Look here, Joonmyun. Last time I checked, I am your senior and you work under me. If you want to continue keeping your job, I suggest you leave now.”

His secretary doesn’t reply back as he steps away from the doorsill, watching as the door shuts on the both of them. Kyungsoo leans back on the way and closes his eyes as he brings a hand up to his face, letting out a huge sigh at the mess that had just occurred.

“Whatever,” he mumbles to himself, shaking his head.

He stands in front of the grave again and sits down in front of it. His hands traces the stone marker as he outlines the name of the owner with his fingers. Kyungsoo lovingly strokes it, smiling to himself, as a sense of calmness settles within him. He places the new set of flowers in his hand on the headstone as, exchanging it with the old bouquets of dying flowers as he brushes the remaining aside.

“I guess the caretaker didn’t get around to cleaning yet,” he says as he brushes off debris on the gravestone. “How are you today, Jongin?”

Kyungsoo lays his head against the stone marker and closes his eyes, smiling before kissing it as he gets up to leave.

“I’ll come back tomorrow,” he says as he picks his stuff up and leaves.

As Kyungsoo heads out, he sees the head of someone familiar. The blond hair on the person bounces side to side catching Kyungsoo’s attention. He slows his walking down to a slower pace so that he could follow the man without being obvious about it. He had no idea what he was doing or why he was doing this, but Kyungsoo slowly follows the man out of the burial ground with caution.

With every careful stride, Kyungsoo continues to tail the man in front of him, hiding behind every nook and corner every time the man with blond hair would turn around to look behind him. He had no idea where they were going, but for sure, curiosity got the best of him and he was going to follow, even if he had no idea where this would lead up to. Kyungsoo sees the man slowly turning again and quickly hides in the nearest alley, waiting for the man to turn back around and proceed. He let’s a few seconds pass by before darting back out, but to his surprisement, the guy is gone. Kyungsoo looks around frantically trying locate the guy and decipher which direction he has stray, but fails.

He lets out a disappointing sigh but jumps when he hears a voice he has heard before speak into his ears. “What are you doing?”

“N-nothing!” Kyungsoo shouts as he turns around to look at the man.

The tall blond man grabs Kyungsoo’s wrist and begins dragging him back the direction of the graveyard site, “I don’t know what you were doing or why you were tailing after me but you need to leave.”

“W-why?” Kyungsoo stammers back.

“Because!” The blond man replies and mumbles something along the line of "I swear to god you are so nosy."

Kyungsoo jerks his hand out of the grip, “What the hell is your problem….mister?”

“Me?” The guy responds back to Kyungsoo, sounding offended. “Talk about yourself first Do Kyungsoo!”

“Yes you! And I obviously do not have a problem you creep,” Kyungsoo says crossing his arms, stomping his foot on the ground.

“Creep?” The stranger closes his eyes to suppress any anger that is fuming out, “You were the one who was just-you know what? Just-Whatever! Stay away from me! Get lost!”

The tall man walks pass Kyungsoo and proceeds on his way back the route he was originally going. Kyungsoo stands there and watches as the view of his back disappears into thin air.

“Get lost,” Kyungsoo repeats, snorting into thin air. “Yeah right.”

Kyungsoo was going to give that guy a piece of his mind for telling him to get lost. He didn’t care what the other had to say. He wasn’t getting lost or wasn’t going to stay away from the guy. He was going to give this guy a piece of his mind after work tomorrow.

+ + + + +

Kyungsoo exits the burial ground and takes a left towards the way he was going yesterday. He takes a look at his surrounding as he makes it further into town and realizes that the buildings looks more run down and old as he walks further away from home. He realizes how the wealth and riches of the city diminishes and how lackluster the areas become. He realizes how his sense of clothing and fashion makes him feel out of place. He looks at everyone staring his way, whispering among each other as they point finger at him. Kyungsoo feels uncomfortable but tries to avoid all the attention.

His attention is diverted when he hears a bell in a not too far off distance door and a shout behind him, “Kai!”

Kyungsoo moves out of the way as he lets the person go by and watches them do so. He watches as the person coming out of the story greets the person back and panics. Kyungsoo scrambles to find a place to hide but fails as he locks eyes with the “Kai” person. He stands there as Kai walks his way and frowns at him, arms crossing as he stares down at Kyungsoo.

“What are you doing here?” Kai asks Kyungsoo.

“Ahh,” Kyungsoo says, scratching his head as he tries to laugh it off. “Funny coincidental seeing you here.”

“Uh huh,” Kai inquires, raising his eyebrows.

Kyungsoo drops his hands to his side and stares back at Kai, and pouts. “This is all your fault okay!”

“How is it my fault?!”

“You told me to ‘get lost.’ Who wouldn’t get ticked off if someone told them to ‘get lost?’”

“Oh my god!” Kai says as he brings his hands up to cup his head from frustration, “You have got to be kidding me?”

“I am most certainly not!” Kyungsoo pipes back.

“Whatever!” Kai says as he shoos Kyungsoo away with his hand going back to his friend.

Kyungsoo stands there and watches as the two walk away. Determination is set on his eyes as he runs after them, “I’m coming too!”

“Whatever,” Kai mumbles in annoyance as he walks side by side with his friend.

His friends looks at him and smirks, jabbing an elbow at him. “New boy-toy?”

“What the hell Sehun? No!” Kai splutter, hitting the latter on the back of the head.

Kyungsoo sits there awkwardly as he watches the two lean against the rails, immersing themselves in conversations. He keeps his eyes on Kai and watches as the guy digs around his pocket and pulls out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter, handing them both over to Sehun before pulling one out for himself and lighting it for himself. Kyungsoo watches as Kai inhales the toxic chemicals before blowing it out and continues talking to Sehun.

“Sure he isn’t your new boy-toy?” Sehun asks.

“I’m sure,” Kai responds back, annoyed.

“Then,” Sehun begins as he turns around to look at Kyungsoo, causing the latter to widen his eyes in surprise. Sehun takes a puff and exhales it, “Seems like you don’t want him, I’ll take him.”

Kai coughs in response and looks at Sehun, “You’re joking right?”

“I’m not,” Sehun says as he continues staring at the petite male. “He looks pretty cute, too.”

Kai turns around to look at Kyungsoo and watches as the latter pipes his attention up. Kyungsoo however, looks away, not knowing why the two are staring at him, as his cheeks begins to redden in embarrassment.

Sehun stares at Kai and takes one last puff before flicking the cigarette butt onto the ground, “I guess no answer means okay then.”

He leaves Kai and stalks up to Kyungsoo and sits beside him on a bench. The lad smiles at Kyungsoo and holds out his hand for the latter to shake.

“My name’s Oh Sehun,” he says as they shake hands.

“Uh, Do Kyungsoo….” Kyungsoo replies back awkwardly.

Kai stares at the two of them and rolls his eyes before tossing his cigarette butt onto the ground as well. He casually walks toward their direction and hovers over the both of them. Kai glares at Sehun and then turns to Kyungsoo to glare at him.

“What the hell are you two doing?” Kai asks, irritated by the two.

“We were having a civilized introduction, Kim Kai.” Sehun answers back, rolling his eyes. “His name is Do Kyungsoo, in case you didn’t know.”

“I’m well aware,” the other mutters under his breath of annoyance.

“Oh do you? So he is-” Sehun asks back in a mockery tone.

Kai hits Sehun on the head, “Shut up and go home.”

“Shut up and go home,” Sehun imitates as he gets up. “Have fun with your boy-toy.”

Kai watches as Sehun leaves and then turns his attention to Kyungsoo, “You, go home too.”

“Me? No!” Kyungsoo interrogates back as he stands up. “And what is this boy-toy talk? Huh?!”

“How would I know?” The taller of the two says as he pushes Kyungsoo on the head back onto the bench. “If you’re not going to leave, then I’m going to.”

Kyungsoo looks up at sky as he hears a crackling sound in the far distance, getting back up and he follows Kai. “I’m coming along with you.”

Kai doesn’t protest or say anything as he lets Kyungsoo tag along.
