A happy holiday to me. You can join in the joy, but it'll cost ya!

And Christmas just passed. It passed quite well for me. It was an unbelievably stark contrast to last year. I was almost unbearably depressed last holiday time (and all winter truthfully). This year, I'm all smiles. This is also the first holiday time (Thanksgiving through New Years) that is being celebrated single, and that's all good. I'm not really going to elaborate on that though, as it's unnecessary.

So you're probably wondering what kind of swag I got this year. No? Well too fucking bad! Anyway, most of my presents consisted of money in some form, as I told people not to get me bike stuff, as I'm getting that on my own.

From the family that I work with: Yes, they got me something because of all my hard work apparently. It was this awesome comfortable hoodie that I just can't stop wearing.

From my two uncles: a Starbucks gift card (yuck) and fifty bucks, which I really was not expecting in the slightest.

From my father: A gift card to borders.

From my mother: Money...a heck of a lot of money. Then she went and got me some headwarmer for biking, despite my pleas to people to not get me bike stuff (_-_), a weird cross necklace...(O.o), a bunch of hygienic stuff (do I smell bad or something? she gets me that stuff every year), and some really weird tools that I am pretty sure I might never use. Yup, that's about the usual from my mom. I told her she really shouldn't get me anything, and I don't think she understood that I meant it.

From my fantastic friend William Craven: An undeniably delicious Chipotle burrito and soft drink.

From my other mother: A blue Christmas ornament ball.

From a bunch of other people: A bunch of impersonal 'Merry Christmas' chains that they send to everyone because they want to tell it to everyone but don't want to take the time to talk to people or personalize every message. Honestly, if you ever consider doing something like that for me, throw it out of your mind. I hate them. Take a little extra time with it or call me (I really really really like phone calls a whole heck of a lot more than texts). I'd much rather have that.

After all of this, you're probably wondering what I did for Christmas! I went to my friend Alex's house! My family wasn't doing a single thing for Christmas, and my friend Alex was only in town for two days this whole break. Since this would be the last time I could see him before I set off for ADVENTURE!, I spent as much time there as I could. It was all quite great. My other mother (his mother) always makes fantastimazing food, and enjoys having me around. They had great present opening time and all the usual works. It was good fun for me. Hans even came around and hung out, so much gaming was done. All in all, a good Christmas for me.
