everything is fantastic. went to a gallery opening at American University yesterday, had a picnic outside with peter's 14 year old cousin, met up with brian for dinner - which went well.
today I'm going to a stitch and bitch (knitting) meeting, which I am very excited about, and then meeting up with michelle and adam for dinner. should be good.
this whole trip promises to be very good. tomorrow night I think I'm going to a movie on the mall, and possibly some museums, because, hey, why not? I'm still just so happy to be here. Its so nice to be out of ravena and out of the produce department at the grocery store, words can't even say.
also, theres been fabulous thunderstorms the whole time I've been here. Amazing ones, with streaks of lightening you can see and thunder so loud it rattled things on shelves.
