Hey hey everyone!
Here I am again. Day 2.
We got up around 9-ish today... Had breakfast at the hostel which was surprisingly good. It's the Vondelpark Stayokay btw, for those of you who asked... We learned that butter isn't called butter in every language, ha ha.
Then we went to the train station to meet up with Cilla and Manon which went pretty smoothly, except that the Pizza Hut wasn't called Pizza Hut, haha.
I had such a blast today though.
We went shopping because my bag broke so I got a really cute polka-dotted one on sale at H&M... Cilla has the same one. Sorry again! hehe.
My water bottle leaked, though, and now my iPod has a water damage, woo. I have to wait until it dries again to figure out whether or not it still works. :(
Then we spent AGES looking for lunch and an ATM and finally went into a department store ("The Bloomingdales of Amsterdam") to have a sandwich... Then we walked around, bought loads of Dutch candy, some of which was really good, and some of which was gross (licorice- ew!), and pastries which were all awesome, and we went to a cafe to sit down... took lots of pictures that I'm going to post at a later point, and then we walked back to the train station.
It was an absolutely awesome day, and the twins are absolute sweethearts ♥
Later on, we'll go on a Canal Cruise on the Amsterdam Canals... and then we'll go to a bar type thing cause, hey, we're in Amsterdam, we have to check out the nightlife here! :)
