As today is Mr. Scomo's birthday, I thought I would make him a nice list of all the times we've spent together and key milestones in our relationship:
- 9th grade, first week of school.
Me: Hey Kurt! We should figure out the screen names of everyone who goes to MST!
Kurt: Okay!
Me: *enters s/n* Hi, who are you?
Scomo: I'm Matt. Matt Viscomi. I can kick ur a$$ at computers.
Me: Cool, wanna be friends?
Scomo: Okay!
Me: *enters another s/n* Hi, who are you?
Scomo: It's me...Matt.
Me: Oh...hi...you have two s/ns.
Me: *enters another s/n* Hi, who are you?
Scomo: Me again :-)
Me: WTF, how many s/ns do you have boy?
- A few weeks later.
Matt: Hey, wanna come over and I can show you how I can kick ur a$$ at computers?
Me: Okay!
Scomo: So you do this, and this, and this, and this *types frantically* and that's how you can make your computer clean your room.
Me: ...*drool*...
- 10th grade, first month of school.
Scomo: Hey, what's this youth group thing I heard about?
Me: OMG it's the greatest thing ever and you should come and i love it and i've been going for a year and omg it's the greatest and u do fun stuff and u meet cool people and u eat food and worship God and have a good time and yeah it's fun.
Scomo: ...I see. When's the first meeting?
Me: Tomorrow.
Scomo: See ya there!
- Two weeks later.
Me: Can I call you Scomo?
Scomo: Sure, as long as that nickname doesn't stay with me all the way through high school.
Oops.
- Three weeks later.
Me: Matt, I don't think our relationship is working out.
Scomo: ...Me neither. Me neither.
Me: I think the time has come for us to move our separate ways and find new lovers.
Scomo: Yes, yes, I agree. But please, keep me in your heart no matter where you go or how far apart we are. I want to know that I will always be a part of you.
Me: I'm sorry, but I just can't...do that...too many painful *tear* memories.
Scomo: Nooooooooooooooo!
Okay, so that part didn't happen, but you must admit it makes it a lot more dramatic :-)
- Natalie's party.
Me: *freaking out about English*
Scomo: Don't worry, buddy. It'll be over before it started.
Me: ...
- 1 week later.
Scomo: Ms. Rasel, can you read this piece of paper?
Ms. Rasel: Sure!
Scomo: Nevermind.
- Who really cares when it happened.
Scomo: Let's go bowling!
Chris: Okay! *whacks Matt in face with bowling ball*
Scomo: Ow!
- A month or two ago.
Me: Hey, Scomo, wanna come over for a bit? Kurt and some other people are coming.
Scomo: Sure pal!
-30 minutes later-
Scomo: ...So where is everyone?
Me: Idk. Wanna go to Mae Stecker?
Scomo: Sure!
*several drama filled minutes later*
Scomo and I: *arrive at Mae Stecker*
- Today.
Scomo: It's my birthday!
Me: ...Oh! Right! Right! Of course! I didn't forget, no siree, I've remembered forever...I've got a present for you it was just...too...big to bring to school.
Scomo: Can't wait!
Me: I'm going to make you a list of all the fun times we ever had!
Scomo: I knew you forgot, you bastard.
So there you go, buddy :-)
In addition, I wrote you a rap song:
Scomo! Scomo!
He grew up in da streets out in da hood
Always causin trouble, up to no good
But then he found a place called SJV
And now Scomo is happy and care free
Scomo! Scomo!
He's got a mom, a dad, and goes to MST
He's got a dog, friends, a great family
Except for those two sisters he'd love to harass
Sometimes they can be a real pain in the
Asphalt is a thing used to make roads
And now I'm gonna yell out "Scomo!"
Scomo! Scomo!
Scomo! Scomo!
S-C-O-M-O
Scomo!
Fin.
