Hooray for Greeting Card Holidays...
So it seems I have a Live Journal. Who knew? Hi, everyone.
Hmmm, so today is Valentine's Day. To celebrate, I will spend the day with my newest love, Olin. We have sort of a love/hate relationship going on. I feel so safe and protected within his giant, comfy arms. But, then I realize he expects me to do work for him all day long, and I'm not really sure I enjoy the dominant/submissive sort of power struggle...
Justin sent me 12 carnations through the crew team's "buy a carnation" fundraiser. They were waiting by my door yesterday when I got home from class. Since there was no card, I dreamed up every possible fantasy involving some cross-campus admirer waiting for the right moment to sweep me off my feet. Alas... Tonight, we are going to La Cantina, an Italian restaurant in Middletown. I never go out for Italian, so this should be a nice treat.
Yesterday, I went to see Howie Day play at the Webster Theater in Hartford. The guy standing behind me was being more vocal than I even thought one human being could be. At one point, Howie actually turned to the audience and asked who the loud dude was. Overall, the show was incredible. It was my third time seeing Howie in the past two months, but the first solo show of his I've seen and...God, three times in two months? That's insane. Never mind.
Anyways, I'm up before noon on a Saturday, so I might as well take this opportunity to do work. Or read People.
