I am so glad there is a happy ending! (Though, of course, the implication that Cas will swoop in eventually and slip back into Jimmy, leaving Sam all alone and sad and stuff still lingers throughout their extended time together.) This was a really great fic.

And yes, I'm sorry that it was kind of bitter-sweet. It's so hard to keep everyone happy, especially when there are two people sharing a body...that gets kind of messy and complicated. I'm wanting to write a companion fic to this one, showing some Dean and Cas with added Jimmy-missing-Sam-ness. But we shall see.

I liked the bittersweetness. With this kind of scenario, someone is always going to lose out and you showed two characters just being very mature and accepting about it, but still of course wanting more.

Thank you, I'm glad that I didn't go about this the wrong way...I was nervous about that. Plus the fact that I've never written for, or about Sam, so I was kind of iffy about my portrayal.

I think you did a good job. I think I can pretty much write one kind of Sam, and I bend every fic to make it fit that character, but here Sam showed a lot of different sides - from silly to serious, aggressive to tender. He came across as a complex character, which was great. And I have so much love for how you wrote Jimmy. He's so recognisable, but he's also clearly come a long way from The Rapture.

And Jimmy...oh, I love writing for him. I have my own head-canon, so I have a lot of background for the guy. Poor thing was only mentioned in the show twice, after all...
