I like rain. I just don't like getting wet in the rain. Well, that's not exactly right. I don't like getting wet when there isn't much hope in getting dry again soon. Or when its cold...
Anyway... birthday tomorrow!!! yay! Don't think I'm going to do anything special, though. Third day of auditions and class form 5-8... thinking of going to get ice cream or something, but that's not really "special"... Though, I guess that would depend on what I get...
Nothing interesting happening today at all... very boring. At least the new workers in the computer center are getting a hang of what it is they are supposed to do, so I don't have to stand over their shoulders and they don't come and ask me things...
Katie and I started talking about concrete canoe yesterday. I'm really not sure I want to lead the team, even though I theoretically am... I'm much more interested in concrete mix design than hull design, so I don't have much interest in heading up the hull design part. We did order new test cylinder molds; 80 of them. They are smaller then the size we normally use, so we should be able to put together more mixes. The large cylinders take about an hour and a half each because of the amount of material that has to be mixed. These should take about 30 minutes or so to mix... so we can do more of them each day we mix.
I still need to come up with a dance list for the Northpass dance event in two weeks. I think I'll probably start that tonight. I need to email at least two people with the dance list once I create it...
The career fair is next week, which means I need to buy resume paper. This is where I will be getting the majority of my interviews. They haven't sent out a list of the companies that will be there yet, so I don't know how many copies of my resume I will need. I have already sent my resume to the career services office to be included in the resume book, so I think that means all of the companies there will get my resume anyway... But still, I guess a company I'm interested in working for can never have too many copies of my resume, right?
I thin I'm going to wander up to fighter practice anyway tonight. You never know, someone else might show up. If not, I guess I could go sit in the Barnes and Noble for a bit, or just go home...
