Good Morning!
First auditions for the play are today. We'll have to see how many people I get... I have the audition pieces, and the info pages....
The ren faire was fun with Tina on Saturday. I think she had a good time, once we really got into it. She seemed fascinated by the glass blower, until she realized there was a petting zoo that we hadn't been to yet... She runs everywhere; like if she doesn't hurry up it won't be there anymore by the time she does get there. She got a new overdress, courtesy of me and Thorny Rose, some fairy wings, a stuffed dragon (from playing some of the games), a glass icicle (gifted to her from the glass blower's assistant), a dragon figurine thingy... lots of stuff. The faire was about an hour and a half away from Mom's, so we had some interesting discussions with her as to whether she did or did not fall asleep in the car...
I think we are going to go again before the season ends, but the next couple of weekends are a bit busy, so I don't know if we will actually be able to fit it in.
I looked at the calendar again and it looks like the full moon will be the day before my birthday (sept. 28), not that day of my birthday (sept. 29). Oh, well. Of course, Wednesday is the day I have class from 5-8pm (my latest class) with my first Thursday class at 9am. Doesn't add up to much partying, but that seems to be normal for my birthdays. Maybe we'll go out on Thursday instead...
So... a bottle of blackberry wine and a purple, lavender-scented bubble bath are better than any drugs I've ever taken for making my back stop hurting so I can sleep... Just thought I'd share. :)
All in all, a good weekend. Next weekend, I think I might actually be home. I might just be able to clean my apartment!
