My only concern is that Britney is only doing it to stay in the spotlight, and is going to make having a baby the new "trendy" thing to do... Instead of a serious and major responsibility, which is what spawning IS. And the fact that she's saying that baby is the BEST thing a girl can do with her life? Grrrr... I don't know about her, but I think I'm more than a uterus with legs!
Considering how irresponsible of a dog owner she is*, one can only hope that she's smart enough to hire a nanny with brains to properly take care of her kid.
*Her chihuahua (Bitbit) is unspayed and pregnant with the puppies of a bulldog. Britney's only concern over this was that her dog had committed incest, as the father is her brother's dog. (I have no idea how that makes the dogs related) Nevermind that Bitbit will likely die unless she gets an emergency spay, because bulldog puppies are almost as big as a chihuahua. Nevermind that bulldog puppies often need to be born by C-section even when they're born to a full-sized bulldog. Britney's only concern is doggie "incest" between two purebreed dogs that aren't the same breed. *eyeroll*
I say let her have the kid. It's not like she's going to do the actual raising of it. That's what nannies are for.
1) If she wanted to make it the "trendy" thing to do, she's late. HOw many other celebrities are recent mothers/currently pregnant?
2) Why is is beyond anyone's comprehension that she may actually want to have a baby with the man she married? Completely aside from the fact that she also happens to be famous, she is, in fact, a recently married 23-year-old woman. Thats what they tend to want to do, spotlight or not.
3) Dare I ask from which reliable source you got the info on the dog? Not the c-section part, that seems to be well known. But do you really think, with her money, the dog is not under the care of a very good vet? And, they won't be bulldog puppies. They will be bulldog/chihuahua mix.
I originally saw the story elsewhere first, but this was the first google link I found that had the mention of Bitbit needing maternity clothes.
And I should have said "a bulldog's puppies" not bulldog puppies.
Let her breed. I'm still going to complain about her, as I'm jealous that she has money and fame and I don't, and bitching at her makes me feel better. But I still think her attitude that "Being a mommy is the bestest thing a woman can do!!!" is annoying. I can do MUCH better things than breed, and I think that I'm not the only woman who feels that way.
