Spamalot was awesome!!!
Without giving out spoilers, it is not entirely like the movie, though there is a good number of beloved scenes. Somewhere in the second act the play takes a sharp left and doesn't look back. Tim Curry was an amazing King Arthur. David Hyde Pierce was an amazing Sir Robin. Hank Azaria made a really good Sir Lancelot/John Cleese alternate. John Cleese is the voice of God. And, I think it was the first time I'd ever seen silly bios in a Playbill.
Oh, and to get off topic for a moment:
Am I missing something? Is Brittany Spears somehow less deserving of a pregnancy/child than any other married 23-year-old woman? At least she has the money to take care of a child, which is more than can be said for other 23-year-olds. Why is getting pregnant at 23 by the man you're married to such a "white trash" thing to do? And who cares what she names it? Is she also less capable of naming her own child? I mean, sure, Gwyneth Paltrow named her daughter Apple, but is that so different from naming a child Brook, River, Forest, Daisy, Rose, Violet, Blossom, Lily, or any other "object" name?
Anyway. That was a mini-rant left over from last night...
