There are a lot of things to be realized with a year abroad.

1. It dosen't matter if there's a castle outside your window, if it has no meaning or isn't what YOU think of as an amazing castle, it's just a building outside your window that you occasionally pause to consider how stupidfuck Oliver Cromwell destroyed all of it but one building in the 1600s. That guy was a dumbass.

2. Friends make a place fun! I mean, this place is amazing, I can even have fun here with by myself! Which is more or less all I do. But, friends can give an aspect of fun that you can't get by yourself. Like conversations. Conversations by yourself just get you odd looks.

3. Most people are retarded and it's not even worth it to try to see otherwise. So, ignoring them is the best idea.

4. If you're unhappy, fix it! Dosen't matter what it takes, just do it. It's worth it. If I don't have world of warcraft in my room I'm going to find some way to move, simple as that. lol

5. Being sick sucks.

6. The history of places make them amazing, it's true, but that dosen't mean that somewhere else can't be JUST as magical as a 900 year old cathedral. And it'll probably smell better.

I'm sure there will be more to this...but for now I need to go see if my shower is warm after an hour.
