Gotta love Central Texas weather.

Past two weeks there have been two days of DDR heavy Style Wintry Storm Mix of ice snow and closed down schools. But not Dell, oh no, I had to get Hyperion safely to work on the first iced roads rally circuit of 2014. That was a magical time to be had. That was a fun Friday, I showed up and only my manager was on duty to help the 7 new hires on their end of the first week taking calls. No need to fear though, cause I was in Aux for 7 hour to be their mother hen and ensure no unusual case creations or duplicating activities were being made. Luckily the second icing of Central Texas, Austin, Round Rock, Leander, Cedar Park and Tyler, was while I was staying the day with Kiki and got my ass handed to me by Dan in my xmas gift of My Little Pony Monopoly.

I felt really good helping out and doing my part to enlighten the youngsters on this old dogs wisdom of Triage work flow and Call Directing ptsd episodes. Which led to My manager and quality lead to ask me to assist in the new training class with three new hires. I was asked to go over the expected workflow and how to search and use the Onenote SOP for Triage. I went through the basics of how to use the search tool to yield the best results to create templates and know if the system being called in for is one our team can handle or it'll be to be warm transferred or cold transfer. I felt so useful!

Other news, I need to write down objectives to keep my ramblings to a minimum and better guide the new team to using the tools together for easier workflow and help solve some confusion once they hit the floor. Things are also pointing towards the department as a whole going permanent and I want to do my best to achieve that goal.

Plus, I'm single again. It was mutual and we're still close friends. Also, don't drink two Purple Ritas from Baby Acapulco's at once with an empty stomach, it would not help in any means in Mario Kart Arcade top scores at Pinballz Arcade. Furthermore the felling when you do wake up in bed and you'd end up calling in sick to work yesterday... No good, no good.
