Sleep when?

I'm sure, once in a while, we all look ahead at the week to come and groan. This week, rather than working my regular 20 to 30 hours, I'll be pushing 51 hours of work this week. I'm not whining. I can definitely use the pay check and I know I am very capable. However, I'm still anticipating being very tired.

I like my jobs. Game Stop more so than UNT. At least at Game Stop, there is always something to do. Always something to organize. With UNT, I organize something and it stays that way for two weeks. I've made my fair share of mistakes at both places. I'm proud to say, though, that at Game Stop, I have yet to send someone out the door with an empty case in their bag (first couple of times was thanks to Dave...but still). I fall short at Game Stop with what we call Reserves and Subscriptions. Every time I talk up a reserve or a subscription to someone, they look very interested and then say, "Hmm... I'll most definitely do that next time." Arg! Next time doesn't help my numbers TODAY. I'm not sure what else to say to them to make them think otherwise.

I had a very strange dream last night. A friend of mine that I used to work with and I were caravaning our cars down I-27 in Amarillo. She exited the highway and I actually saw her get in a wreck. Her car was part of a pileup. Well, I had to get back to her. So, for some reason, I got out of my car and pulled my bike out of the trunk and attempted to pedal over to her, some 100 feet away. I'm pretty sure I got lost because I ended up in a gas station, where the attendant tried to seduce me. This only gets worse because of the fact that the attendant was Robin Williams... dressed like a priest. I ended up telling him that I didn't have time and leaving the gas station. That's pretty much all I remember. I don't know where the wreck came from, but I'm pretty sure the whole Robin Williams thing came from my seeing License to Wed. Weird dream.
