Late 1994
I was watching "The Land Before Time". I looked out the window and I saw three kittens. I told Laura (Mother) that I saw them. Laura said I could keep them, so we went out and took the kittens inside the house, and I named them Stripe, Spot and Whiskers.

February, 1995
I found a baby Tyrannosaurus-Rex, but when it grew up we had big trouble. It chased everyone out of the house except me. I sat at the window and watched it go by. It was so close that it was amazing it did not see me. It ate everyone but Stephanie's family, Sunny's family and my family.

March 10th
I dreamed there was a trap door in the floor of my room which led to a basement. At the bottom of the steps was a swimming pool. I walked into the water before I realized it was there. Outside the pool were boxes of toys, most of them dinosaurs.
Tony (Father) was with me, and we got our clothes wet swimming.

June 19th
I dreamed I came to the door to find two black puppies.
I came back later to find a cat with a litter of kittens.
Next time I looked, a tom cat had joined them.
A later look showed that the puppy's mother had joined them.
They wouldn't move! I tapped them. They were statues!
Someone kept putting statues on my porch. I never found out who.

Saturday, September 2nd
Someone gave me a kid (baby goat) who was very shy. I lost the kid, but then I found him again. But when I did, he had turned into a kitten. Then I found lots of other kittens.

Friday, October 13th
I was at a party with Mabry, Sunny and Valerie. I saw a pretty plant. I picked it and showed it to Valerie and Sunny and Mabry. They all said it had a curse on it. It's like the thing was haunted or something.
(I still remember this dream, though I was only seven years old. The short description in the journal doesn't convey the full story. The curse on the plant would kill me, and the fear of that loomed over the rest of the dream.
The plant looked like a dandelion when it goes to seed, but hidden in the puffy white ball were sharp needles. I had pricked my finger on one.)

December 29th
Mabry, Sunny and I were walking together. We walked by a house. A beautiful dog on the steps looked real friendly. I went up to her, and she talked to me, saying the house was real strange. She was warning me. So we went home. A few days later, the children of the house wanted us to stay the night. The dog had told them of us. We said yes and went. When we had walked by, we'd seen that the porch was flat, but when we arrived we saw it was slanted.
The dog welcomed us inside the house. The people there were nice. Sunny called me over to see two tall figures in black capes looking in the window. They would fly off and come back. Then Courtney called me over to the back door. We looked out and saw those two figures flying away. Afterwards, lots of black-caped figures were twirling around the back yard.
Then I took Mabry to the front window. Instead of the figures, we saw lots of snow. Big monkeys were playing in the trees. In the back yard, the black-capes lined up at the back door. Courtney thought they were friendly and opened the door. We ran to the bathroom and locked the door. They were running around scaring everyone, so we let in the dog....
