sooo work was work ;-)
no but really so far im enjoying it. At the begining it was alittle boring because i had to sit through long dry orientations but when i started my ride alongs it got better. I actually missed one day of orientations because i couldnt find the place and when i finally did there was absolutly no parking. so i ended up being half an hour late and got sent home. haha it took me 2 hours to get there because i got lost and then half an hour to get home. monday will be my first day off training because i couldnt schedule anything before that. I also got a call from flushing hospital for an interview for a possible per diem job (thats less then part time) im definatly excited about that because thats 911 stuff. not to mention i would get much more per hour then i do at seniorcare. Im actually starting to feel like an emt now that im going on calls. because vollying is ok but its soooooooo slow that you can go entire tours without getting even 1 job. speaking of wich im going to the flushing community volunteer ambulance corps (FCVAC) tonight. they finally got around to giving me a uniform and key to get inside. i actually took the initiative and started brainstorming about things to help that corps. its sad that they are coming on there 50th anniversery and are barely running. im also now on the uniform commitee at (govac) glen oaks volunteer ambulance corps. thats no big deal its just alittle more responcibility.
