A few hours later, still safe in the hotel room, YunHo slept in JaeJoong’s arms, covered under a warm blanket to keep him warm. And because he slept, he didn’t knew that he wasn’t alone with JaeJoong. The vampire who had saved him, the one from the restaurant, was standing besides the closed door and stared with his arms folded at JaeJoong, and… he looked annoyed. “JaeJoong, I know that you need you mate to help you, and that you also need MY help but… I know it when somebody is keeping something from me” The vampire eyed JaeJoong and looked with a more friendly look in his eyes at the sleeping YunHo. “Why are you keeping him away from me? And why are you so mysterious about him? Who is he?” The vampire looked back at JaeJoong and frowned. He had been friends with JaeJoong for a long time and it was strange that his friend was acting this way. The vampire did slowly a step forward and tried to smell YunHo’s scent. “He is smelling familiar, do I know him? Or his family?” tried the vampire again, he wanted to have some answers before he would help his friend. “JunSu", can we talk about this later? I don’t want to wake YunHo, it was a tiring day for him…” JaeJoong sounded desperate and the older vampire felt sorry for his friend, having a mate and learning to know each other was really difficult sometimes, and JaeJoong’s situation was absolutely not the best you could which for. “JunSu, please…” JaeJoong sighed and closed his eyes for a few seconds, he was really tired and he was feeling now that he was weakening really fast. He wished that he could sleep like his mate, peaceful and without worry. Then he looked up at his friend and had a serious look in his eyes. “Promise me to NOT shout and to NOT overreact when I tell you why I haven’t introduced you earlier to my mate.” JaeJoong sounded really serious, he didn’t wanted to talk about it, not yet. But he needed the help from JunSu so he had no choice. The other vampire nodded to JaeJoong and did a few steps back. “I listen” was all what he said while he wondered what JaeJoong was hiding from him. “Jung JunSu, my mate is you great, great, great grandchild, his name is Jung YunHo.” While JaeJoong spoke he looked warningly at JunSu, prepared to send him out if he was going to make a fuss about it.
But, JunSu stared only wide eyed at him, showing JaeJoong that he didn’t had suspected something like this. “He is my…… relative? Does he know it?” JunSu paused while he watched the sleeping YunHo, wondering how it was possible that he would meet one of his relatives after all those long years. “No, I haven’t told it him. I eventually want to tell it him, but I’m not sure when.” JaeJoong looked down at the sleeping human in his arms and knew that his mate was still not completely used to his new life and that it was not good to give him too much information all at once. “I want to tell it him when he is calmer and when he is out of danger. Too much worry is not good for both of us.” JaeJoong sounded relieved now that his friend wasn’t overreacting and looked thankful at him. “Telling him now that one of his great, great, great grandfathers is a vampire is not something I want to do now, not when YunHo still is struggling with his new life. He is doing it good, especially after all what happened, but I don’t want to set him on too much pressure.” JunSu nodded and stared again at YunHo. “So… I assume that he didn’t wanted to be you mate at the beginning? So… if there were problems, why have you chosen him? You could have told m..-” “What?” Asked JaeJoong, interrupting his friend, “what would you have done if I would have told you about YunHo? You are his family and you know that it is IMPOSSIBLE for siblings to have a blood-bond with each other and it is impossible to keep a human with you while he or she isn’t bounded to you. You couldn’t just kept YunHo with you, he would NEVER accept his life and be happy. You couldn’t have done anything for him.” Said JaeJoong calmly. YunHo moved a little and JaeJoong needed to shift if he wanted to keep him in his arms, but he didn’t waked up. “YunHo has witnessed a vampire attack when he was still a little kid, and you know what that means… I have promised his parents to take him when he was old enough.” JaeJoong saw that his friend had a shocked look in his eyes, they both knew that YunHo would have died if he had stayed home, alone and not protected.
JunSu nodded slowly and understood now better what was happening. “So, you mate has accepted you finally” the vampire looked at the way how YunHo lied against JaeJoong’s chest, curled up in his arms. “Yes, answered JaeJoong, but…” JaeJoong paused, he didn’t wanted to talk too much about YunHo, respecting his privacy but some things needed to be said now that he was talking to JunSu. “YunHo has given himself only two days ago to me, so our bond is still growing and not as strong as it could be. He still need some more time to adjust and to learn how to live his new life.” JaeJoong refused to talk more about this subject, knowing full well that YunHo would be terrible ashamed about this if he would know that he had talked about this with JunSu. But he didn’t needed to worry, JunSu understood the situation and respected YunHo’s privacy and didn’t asked any more questions about when YunHo had started to trust and love his mate. For every vampire it was the same, his or her human mate NEEDED to have had sex with the vampire before he or she would be really happy and strong, they needed to love each other, no matter what. And now that JunSu looked at his sleeping grandchild he knew that the boy was safe and that he would be happy with JaeJoong. “Okay, I help you” said JunSu but narrowed his eyes when he looked at JaeJoong. “But, I want you to tell me the truth about everything from now on while I’m here to help you and….” he pointed at YunHo. “You need to keep good good care of my family.” JaeJoong had already suspected a response like this from his old friend and nodded. “That sounds fair” JaeJoong’s eyes glowed suddenly bright green in the dark room, showing his friend that the promise he had made was real.

A few hours later and with a itching feeling in his butt, YunHo awakened. He noted that he lied on the backside of a car under a warm blanked and that the windows from the car were tinted black, special to not let any sunlight inside the car. But, he was alone in the car! Where was JaeJoong? YunHo sat upright and tried to look around him, but he didn’t recognized this car, this was not JaeJoong’s… “JaeJoong?” He called for his mate and tried to open the door, but he realized that the doors were locked. He frowned and tried to open the other doors, but they were also locked and there was no key inside the ignition from the car to start and to drive away, not that he knew where he could drive to, and if he had a license and knew HOW to drive… “JaeJoong, where are you?” Called he again out loud, but to his surprise he saw that not JaeJoong opened the door but, the man he had met at the restaurant. And his first response was to back away from him, if JaeJoong would have been besides him now, he would have dared it to be with the vampire in this car, but alone? And not knowing if it was safe or not? No way! “Eh… Where is JaeJoong?” YunHo sat as far as possible away from the vampire and didn’t looked at the man and missed that way the friendly and understanding look in his eyes. “You mate is inside the new home you and JaeJoong are going to live in for the next few months.” The vampire did a step backwards and opened the door wider. “I can bring you to him, he has left you here because you were still asleep when we arrived and he didn’t wanted to wake you.” YunHo frowned when he looked at the vampire and tried to understand where he was talking about. Why was he talking about a new home? JaeJoong had a home and he had lived there since he was with JaeJoong… He looked at the vampire whose name he still didn’t knew and wasn’t so sure if it was a good idea to follow him, the last time he had followed a vampire he had been in real danger and some people had tried to kill him!
“I- I want to see JaeJoong” said YunHo and decided at that moment that he didn’t wanted to follow this vampire BEFORE he had seen JaeJoong, or when JaeJoong had told him that it was safe to go ANYWHERE with this vampire. “Okay” said the vampire and closed the door without telling him what he was going to do and left him for a few seconds, and yes, he had counted, after less than three seconds the door was opened again and this time he saw JaeJoong. “Come here” said JaeJoong and opened his arms for his mate while he sat next YunHo in the car. “I’m sorry that I wasn’t here when you awakened, but I didn’t wanted to wake you, you needed all the sleep you could get.” YunHo looked at JaeJoong and saw that his mate… looked tired. But, was that even possible for a vampire? His skin also didn’t looked healthy and he had bangs under his eyes, and that was worrying YunHo. “Are…. You okay?” Hesitated YunHo while he took JaeJoong’s now ice-cold hand in his and he frowned, there was simply so much he didn’t knew about vampires and more importantly, about his mate JaeJoong. “I’m okay” said JaeJoong with a friendly look in his eyes. “Don’t worry about me okay? I will be fine for now…” YunHo noted that JaeJoong didn’t sounded really convincing, but he didn’t asked more questions about his health, not now. “Who is the other vampire? And why is he here? And… do you trust him?”
JaeJoong’s lips curled up in a small smile when his mate had asked all those questions and opened the door. “The vampire you have met is a friend of mine, his name is JunSu, and for you next question, he is here because I have asked him to help us. And I know that that may sound strange because I didn’t wanted that you were around him, but I have changed my plans… And to answer you last question… Yes, we can trust him, especially now.” JaeJoong didn’t told YunHo what JunSu’s last name was and why they could trust him and what the sudden reason was. But YunHo was perfectly aware of the fact that JaeJoong wasn’t telling him everything. But again, he didn’t asked any more questions, convinced that if JaeJoong didn’t wanted to tell him about the other vampire, JunSu, that it would be the best thing at the moment. “I’m sorry that we needed to leave this sudden, but we will be living in a new home for a few weeks.” JaeJoong stepped out of the car and showed YunHo a small and simple house, probably big enough for only three or four people. “This house is built a few years after I became a vampire, and now I own it.” But when YunHo looked at his mate he saw that his mate looked sad while he watched this house, as if he had a past here and didn’t liked it to be here. “There is a river a few miles away from this house, but I don’t want you to go there alone, it isn’t safe there.” And again, YunHo saw a sad look in the eyes from his mate. He frowned and wondered why they were here if JaeJoong wasn’t happy to be here, he was sure that his mate had a few other places where they could stay, so why here? “Why are you so sad?” YunHo tried to look closer at his mate and knew now for sure that he was right, his mate DIDN’T liked it to be here. “I have been created a few miles away from here” said JaeJoong with a sigh and started walking toward the house. “Come and I show you around” YunHo knew that JaeJoong tried to avoid it to answer any more questions, and he respected that. He himself wasn’t so sure if he wanted to return to a place where he had a few bad memories, but… What had happened here? How had JaeJoong become a vampire? He had never really thought about that, but now that they were here he wondered what had happened and why they were returning to this place if JaeJoong hated it so much to be here… Was this JaeJoong’s old home? Or had his home been built here before this house?
YunHo followed his mate inside the house and saw the vampire, JunSu, standing in a small living room, he was standing with his back toward him and he was searching for something inside a old looking box, but when he saw that YunHo was watching him he closed the box and nodded to him. And after YunHo had nodded back to JunSu he followed JaeJoong though the whole house, and the house was really small so they were done in a few minutes. The house had one living room, a small old looking kitchen, three bedrooms, one bathroom and attic. And what he also had noted was that EVERYTING inside the house was old, the couches were old, there were old paintings on the walls, everywhere was dust… The house even smelled old! The staircase was making scary sounds when he wanted to go upstairs so he decided to NOT use the staircase when JaeJoong wasn’t directly besides him, afraid that the staircase wasn’t strong enough to hold him. But there was something else what was bothering him, he noted that the other vampire, JunSu was watching him when he walked past him, he stared OPENLY at him and it made YunHo uneasy. He wanted to ask JaeJoong why he needed the help from this vampire, why they needed him, but he was afraid to ask because he wasn’t sure how close they were and that also was making him jealous, they were already friends for so long!
YunHo had never been jealous before, but now that they were sharing a small house together he realized that he didn’t liked it to not being alone with his mate, and JaeJoong knew it. Every time when he saw that JaeJoong talked to JunSu and when he walked away, he saw that JaeJoong smiled, as if there was something really funny about this situation! And he wasn’t even able to go outside because JaeJoong had ordered him to stay indoors, he said that it still wasn’t safe to go outside alone so IF he wanted to leave the house he needed to ask one of the vampires to come with him, and… he didn’t wanted to ask JunSu, he was strange and the fact that he constantly watched him was really annoying, so he didn’t wanted to be around him much. He suspected that there must be a reason WHY the vampire was doing what he did because JaeJoong wasn’t saying anything about it, and JaeJoong was VERY protective. So… the second day he was really bored, he wasn’t sleeping well here, the house was making strange sounds because it was so old and outside… it was silent outside. And that was also strange. He had lived his whole life in a big city, he had lived in Seoel and it was never really silent there. But here? He wasn’t in a big city here and there were everywhere trees and bushes around the house, and that was different. He had never been so far away from Seoel…
So, the second day when he awakened alone in bed, he wanted to do something and he wanted to be alone for a while with JaeJoong. He wanted to leave this house for a few hours to relax a little and he wanted to do it today! “JaeJoong? Where are you?” called YunHo after he had put some clothes on and had eaten something. He didn’t had called hard for his mate, he just had said his name, knowing that his mate would hear him even if he was a few meters away, but when he didn’t responded to him he started to worry… JaeJoong ALWAYS responded to him, and the only times when he didn’t had responded to him they had both been in danger. So yes, he was worried now.
“JaeJoong?” He called again for his mate and opened all the doors to look inside all the rooms, and that was not really much work because the house was really small. He found JaeJoong AND JunSu inside a empty room and… JaeJoong seemed really sick! Was that even possible? He saw that JunSu was standing besides JaeJoong and he had the impression that they had been arguing about something… But when he opened the door both the vampires stopped and stared at him, JaeJoong with a tired look in his eyes and JunSu just worried. “JaeJoong, are you alright?” He walked slowly toward his mate and saw that JunSu did a few steps away from them. “I’m back in a few hours” was all what he said before he left the room and later the house. Hmm, that was strange, he normally stayed inside and now he just left? But… not he minded it, he and JaeJoong were alone now and he had FINELY some privacy, knowing that JunSu was able to hear everything what he did, even if he tried to not listen to him, vampires were just stronger and their ears were much better than his… Taking a deep breath he grabbed JaeJoong’s cold hand and sat next him. “What is wrong?” Asked YunHo worried. “Do you… Do you need some blood? You are feeling so cold” YunHo sounded now really worried and didn’t liked it to see his mate so strange, sitting with a tired look in his eyes, feeling cold and so silent! There was something really wrong now and he wondered if this had something to do with the curse. “I’m sorry that I have made you worried” said JaeJoong while he wrapped his arm around YunHo’s waist. But… YunHo could clearly hear that his mate was trying to sound strong, but also that his voice was quivering.
He saw that JaeJoong looked at his neck, just when he had asked him if he wanted some blood, so the answer to his question was already answered, even before JaeJoong had said anything about it. So, even now that he still didn’t liked it, he sat on JaeJoong’s lap with his legs wrapped around JaeJoong’s hips and offered him his neck to bite him there. And while he did that he closed his eyes because he didn’t wanted to see how JaeJoong did it, to see how his lips would be red with his blood. He loved JaeJoong, but the whole blood drinking thing was something he didn’t liked so he didn’t wanted to see it or to know much about it, he also was really happy that JaeJoong didn’t had made him a vampire, a vampire who hated it to see or to drink blood would not survive for long… And then he felt it… He felt how JaeJoong brought his lips toward his neck and how he placed his cold lips over his skin, and… And then he felt how JaeJoong’s fangs, painful and sharp, exactly at the same spot as where he always had bitten him and where his skin had just healed. The pain he felt was almost the same as always, but this time it was different, he felt that JaeJoong was really desperate to drink his blood, he was careful with him, but he needed more blood and sucked his blood faster than normal, and that was a little more painful than normal. His own breathing quickened and he needed to grab JaeJoong by both his arms to keep himself steady. He was afraid that he never would like this, but he had accepted it that he needed to do this, for JaeJoong to keep him healthy and strong.
After more than ten minutes JaeJoong stopped and released him from his hold, but he kept his eyes closed, he knew that JaeJoong was going to lick his lips clean and he didn’t wanted to see that also. So he waited for JaeJoong to be ready and completely done. But he didn’t needed to wait long, he was done when he hugged him and took him in his arms. “Thank you” whispered JaeJoong in is ear but something was bothering YunHo, his mate was still feeling cold and his voice still sounded tired. How was that even possible? He needed to feel better now, right? After he had given JaeJoong his blood… Slowly he shifted something to look JaeJoong in his eyes to see if he still was tired and yes, his eyes were the same as a few minutes before when he had been thirsty. “JaeJoong? Why are you still tired after you have drunk my blood? And… How is it even possible that you are tired? As a vampire you can’t be tired, right?” YunHo sounded worried and confused and he wanted to know if he could do something more to help his mate. But he hoped, no, he wished that JaeJoong would tell him to not worry and that everything was okay, but his mate didn’t what he had hoped and sighed. “I’m indeed tired YunHo, I can’t deny that…” YunHo saw that JaeJoong closed his eyes for a few seconds and that he tried to think about what he needed to say to him or how he could explain something. “I’m weak YunHo, and I will only become weaker now that I’m almost hundred years old.” He opened his eyes and took YunHo’s hand in his. “I know that you don’t like JunSu and that you’re jealous about him, but you need to know that he is here to help us, and that you can trust him. There are some things I can’t tell you about him, but he will NEVER hurt you or left you alone unprotected, he… has his reasons to protect you…” YunHo frowned after this and had now even more questions he wanted to be answered than a few minutes before!
“And… where do we need his help for? Are we still in danger because of you brothers?” that was the only explanation he could think of, that JaeJoong wasn’t strong enough to protect both of them and that he needed the help from JunSu. “Yes and no.” said JaeJoong still tired. “We need JunSu because there is still some danger that somebody will hurt you, but my brothers aren’t able to do it themselves, our creator has ordered them to stay away from us. But there are others who are able to hurt you and because of that…” JaeJoong looked sorry at him, as if he knew that YunHo didn’t would like what he was going to say. “You are stronger now than before, not as strong as a vampire, but you are stronger than a normal human, but you need to know how to fight and to defend yourself. And JunSu can help you with that.”
YunHo opened his mouth and closed it again, did he… did he really needed to learn how to fight? He? But he wasn’t a fighter, yet had he the courage to do it… “You can do it” said JaeJoong after he had heard his thoughts. “Why… why can’t you do it… Learning me to fight I mean” said YunHo somewhat nervous. He REALLY didn’t liked it to fight and he knew that it would be difficult for him to learn it, so he hoped that JaeJoong would be able to do it. But… JaeJoong shook his head. “I’m sorry YunHo, but… I’m afraid that I’m too weak now to do it. I even aren’t strong enough to carry you in my arms…” Oh! YunHo stared in shock at his mate and didn’t knew how to respond. “Okay” said he in a soft whisper. I accept JunSu’s help and do what I can to become stronger…” He still didn’t liked it, but he also knew that he needed to do it, for JaeJoong. And… maybe it as a good thing that he could help JaeJoong to take care of himself, he was really to dependent now… “Thank you” JaeJoong opened his arms for YunHo and placed a few soft kisses at his lips.

And now that JunSu looked at his sleeping grandchild he knew that the boy was safe and that he would be happy with JaeJoong. “Okay, I help you” said JunSu but narrowed his eyes when he looked at JaeJoong. “But, I want you to tell me the truth about everything from now on while I’m here to help you and….” he pointed at YunHo. “You need to keep good good care of my family.” JaeJoong had already suspected a response like this from his old friend and nodded. “That sounds fair” JaeJoong’s eyes glowed suddenly bright green in the dark room, showing his friend that the promise he had made was real.

A few hours later and with a itching feeling in his butt, YunHo awakened. He noted that he lied on the backside of a car under a warm blanked and that the windows from the car were tinted black, special to not let any sunlight inside the car. But, he was alone in the car! Where was JaeJoong? YunHo sat upright and tried to look around him, but he didn’t recognized this car, this was not JaeJoong’s… “JaeJoong?” He called for his mate and tried to open the door, but he realized that the doors were locked. He frowned and tried to open the other doors, but they were also locked and there was no key inside the ignition from the car to start and to drive away, not that he knew where he could drive to, and if he had a license and knew HOW to drive… “JaeJoong, where are you?” Called he again out loud, but to his surprise he saw that not JaeJoong opened the door but, the man he had met at the restaurant. And his first response was to back away from him, if JaeJoong would have been besides him now, he would have dared it to be with the vampire in this car, but alone? And not knowing if it was safe or not? No way! “Eh… Where is JaeJoong?” YunHo sat as far as possible away from the vampire and didn’t looked at the man and missed that way the friendly and understanding look in his eyes. “You mate is inside the new home you and JaeJoong are going to live in for the next few months.” The vampire did a step backwards and opened the door wider. “I can bring you to him, he has left you here because you were still asleep when we arrived and he didn’t wanted to wake you.” YunHo frowned when he looked at the vampire and tried to understand where he was talking about. Why was he talking about a new home? JaeJoong had a home and he had lived there since he was with JaeJoong… He looked at the vampire whose name he still didn’t knew and wasn’t so sure if it was a good idea to follow him, the last time he had followed a vampire he had been in real danger and some people had tried to kill him!
“I- I want to see JaeJoong” said YunHo and decided at that moment that he didn’t wanted to follow this vampire BEFORE he had seen JaeJoong, or when JaeJoong had told him that it was safe to go ANYWHERE with this vampire. “Okay” said the vampire and closed the door without telling him what he was going to do and left him for a few seconds, and yes, he had counted, after less than three seconds the door was opened again and this time he saw JaeJoong. “Come here” said JaeJoong and opened his arms for his mate while he sat next YunHo in the car. “I’m sorry that I wasn’t here when you awakened, but I didn’t wanted to wake you, you needed all the sleep you could get.” YunHo looked at JaeJoong and saw that his mate… looked tired. But, was that even possible for a vampire? His skin also didn’t looked healthy and he had bangs under his eyes, and that was worrying YunHo. “Are…. You okay?” Hesitated YunHo while he took JaeJoong’s now ice-cold hand in his and he frowned, there was simply so much he didn’t knew about vampires and more importantly, about his mate JaeJoong. “I’m okay” said JaeJoong with a friendly look in his eyes. “Don’t worry about me okay? I will be fine for now…” YunHo noted that JaeJoong didn’t sounded really convincing, but he didn’t asked more questions about his health, not now. “Who is the other vampire? And why is he here? And… do you trust him?”
JaeJoong’s lips curled up in a small smile when his mate had asked all those questions and opened the door. “The vampire you have met is a friend of mine, his name is JunSu, and for you next question, he is here because I have asked him to help us. And I know that that may sound strange because I didn’t wanted that you were around him, but I have changed my plans… And to answer you last question… Yes, we can trust him, especially now.” JaeJoong didn’t told YunHo what JunSu’s last name was and why they could trust him and what the sudden reason was. But YunHo was perfectly aware of the fact that JaeJoong wasn’t telling him everything. But again, he didn’t asked any more questions, convinced that if JaeJoong didn’t wanted to tell him about the other vampire, JunSu, that it would be the best thing at the moment. “I’m sorry that we needed to leave this sudden, but we will be living in a new home for a few weeks.” JaeJoong stepped out of the car and showed YunHo a small and simple house, probably big enough for only three or four people. “This house is built a few years after I became a vampire, and now I own it.” But when YunHo looked at his mate he saw that his mate looked sad while he watched this house, as if he had a past here and didn’t liked it to be here. “There is a river a few miles away from this house, but I don’t want you to go there alone, it isn’t safe there.” And again, YunHo saw a sad look in the eyes from his mate. He frowned and wondered why they were here if JaeJoong wasn’t happy to be here, he was sure that his mate had a few other places where they could stay, so why here? “Why are you so sad?” YunHo tried to look closer at his mate and knew now for sure that he was right, his mate DIDN’T liked it to be here. “I have been created a few miles away from here” said JaeJoong with a sigh and started walking toward the house. “Come and I show you around” YunHo knew that JaeJoong tried to avoid it to answer any more questions, and he respected that. He himself wasn’t so sure if he wanted to return to a place where he had a few bad memories, but… What had happened here? How had JaeJoong become a vampire? He had never really thought about that, but now that they were here he wondered what had happened and why they were returning to this place if JaeJoong hated it so much to be here… Was this JaeJoong’s old home? Or had his home been built here before this house?
YunHo followed his mate inside the house and saw the vampire, JunSu, standing in a small living room, he was standing with his back toward him and he was searching for something inside a old looking box, but when he saw that YunHo was watching him he closed the box and nodded to him. And after YunHo had nodded back to JunSu he followed JaeJoong though the whole house, and the house was really small so they were done in a few minutes. The house had one living room, a small old looking kitchen, three bedrooms, one bathroom and attic. And what he also had noted was that EVERYTING inside the house was old, the couches were old, there were old paintings on the walls, everywhere was dust… The house even smelled old! The staircase was making scary sounds when he wanted to go upstairs so he decided to NOT use the staircase when JaeJoong wasn’t directly besides him, afraid that the staircase wasn’t strong enough to hold him. But there was something else what was bothering him, he noted that the other vampire, JunSu was watching him when he walked past him, he stared OPENLY at him and it made YunHo uneasy. He wanted to ask JaeJoong why he needed the help from this vampire, why they needed him, but he was afraid to ask because he wasn’t sure how close they were and that also was making him jealous, they were already friends for so long!
YunHo had never been jealous before, but now that they were sharing a small house together he realized that he didn’t liked it to not being alone with his mate, and JaeJoong knew it. Every time when he saw that JaeJoong talked to JunSu and when he walked away, he saw that JaeJoong smiled, as if there was something really funny about this situation! And he wasn’t even able to go outside because JaeJoong had ordered him to stay indoors, he said that it still wasn’t safe to go outside alone so IF he wanted to leave the house he needed to ask one of the vampires to come with him, and… he didn’t wanted to ask JunSu, he was strange and the fact that he constantly watched him was really annoying, so he didn’t wanted to be around him much. He suspected that there must be a reason WHY the vampire was doing what he did because JaeJoong wasn’t saying anything about it, and JaeJoong was VERY protective. So… the second day he was really bored, he wasn’t sleeping well here, the house was making strange sounds because it was so old and outside… it was silent outside. And that was also strange. He had lived his whole life in a big city, he had lived in Seoel and it was never really silent there. But here? He wasn’t in a big city here and there were everywhere trees and bushes around the house, and that was different. He had never been so far away from Seoel…
So, the second day when he awakened alone in bed, he wanted to do something and he wanted to be alone for a while with JaeJoong. He wanted to leave this house for a few hours to relax a little and he wanted to do it today! “JaeJoong? Where are you?” called YunHo after he had put some clothes on and had eaten something. He didn’t had called hard for his mate, he just had said his name, knowing that his mate would hear him even if he was a few meters away, but when he didn’t responded to him he started to worry… JaeJoong ALWAYS responded to him, and the only times when he didn’t had responded to him they had both been in danger. So yes, he was worried now.
“JaeJoong?” He called again for his mate and opened all the doors to look inside all the rooms, and that was not really much work because the house was really small. He found JaeJoong AND JunSu inside a empty room and… JaeJoong seemed really sick! Was that even possible? He saw that JunSu was standing besides JaeJoong and he had the impression that they had been arguing about something… But when he opened the door both the vampires stopped and stared at him, JaeJoong with a tired look in his eyes and JunSu just worried. “JaeJoong, are you alright?” He walked slowly toward his mate and saw that JunSu did a few steps away from them. “I’m back in a few hours” was all what he said before he left the room and later the house. Hmm, that was strange, he normally stayed inside and now he just left? But… not he minded it, he and JaeJoong were alone now and he had FINELY some privacy, knowing that JunSu was able to hear everything what he did, even if he tried to not listen to him, vampires were just stronger and their ears were much better than his… Taking a deep breath he grabbed JaeJoong’s cold hand and sat next him. “What is wrong?” Asked YunHo worried. “Do you… Do you need some blood? You are feeling so cold” YunHo sounded now really worried and didn’t liked it to see his mate so strange, sitting with a tired look in his eyes, feeling cold and so silent! There was something really wrong now and he wondered if this had something to do with the curse. “I’m sorry that I have made you worried” said JaeJoong while he wrapped his arm around YunHo’s waist. But… YunHo could clearly hear that his mate was trying to sound strong, but also that his voice was quivering.
He saw that JaeJoong looked at his neck, just when he had asked him if he wanted some blood, so the answer to his question was already answered, even before JaeJoong had said anything about it. So, even now that he still didn’t liked it, he sat on JaeJoong’s lap with his legs wrapped around JaeJoong’s hips and offered him his neck to bite him there. And while he did that he closed his eyes because he didn’t wanted to see how JaeJoong did it, to see how his lips would be red with his blood. He loved JaeJoong, but the whole blood drinking thing was something he didn’t liked so he didn’t wanted to see it or to know much about it, he also was really happy that JaeJoong didn’t had made him a vampire, a vampire who hated it to see or to drink blood would not survive for long… And then he felt it… He felt how JaeJoong brought his lips toward his neck and how he placed his cold lips over his skin, and… And then he felt how JaeJoong’s fangs, painful and sharp, exactly at the same spot as where he always had bitten him and where his skin had just healed. The pain he felt was almost the same as always, but this time it was different, he felt that JaeJoong was really desperate to drink his blood, he was careful with him, but he needed more blood and sucked his blood faster than normal, and that was a little more painful than normal. His own breathing quickened and he needed to grab JaeJoong by both his arms to keep himself steady. He was afraid that he never would like this, but he had accepted it that he needed to do this, for JaeJoong to keep him healthy and strong.
After more than ten minutes JaeJoong stopped and released him from his hold, but he kept his eyes closed, he knew that JaeJoong was going to lick his lips clean and he didn’t wanted to see that also. So he waited for JaeJoong to be ready and completely done. But he didn’t needed to wait long, he was done when he hugged him and took him in his arms. “Thank you” whispered JaeJoong in is ear but something was bothering YunHo, his mate was still feeling cold and his voice still sounded tired. How was that even possible? He needed to feel better now, right? After he had given JaeJoong his blood… Slowly he shifted something to look JaeJoong in his eyes to see if he still was tired and yes, his eyes were the same as a few minutes before when he had been thirsty. “JaeJoong? Why are you still tired after you have drunk my blood? And… How is it even possible that you are tired? As a vampire you can’t be tired, right?” YunHo sounded worried and confused and he wanted to know if he could do something more to help his mate. But he hoped, no, he wished that JaeJoong would tell him to not worry and that everything was okay, but his mate didn’t what he had hoped and sighed. “I’m indeed tired YunHo, I can’t deny that…” YunHo saw that JaeJoong closed his eyes for a few seconds and that he tried to think about what he needed to say to him or how he could explain something. “I’m weak YunHo, and I will only become weaker now that I’m almost hundred years old.” He opened his eyes and took YunHo’s hand in his. “I know that you don’t like JunSu and that you’re jealous about him, but you need to know that he is here to help us, and that you can trust him. There are some things I can’t tell you about him, but he will NEVER hurt you or left you alone unprotected, he… has his reasons to protect you…” YunHo frowned after this and had now even more questions he wanted to be answered than a few minutes before!
“And… where do we need his help for? Are we still in danger because of you brothers?” that was the only explanation he could think of, that JaeJoong wasn’t strong enough to protect both of them and that he needed the help from JunSu. “Yes and no.” said JaeJoong still tired. “We need JunSu because there is still some danger that somebody will hurt you, but my brothers aren’t able to do it themselves, our creator has ordered them to stay away from us. But there are others who are able to hurt you and because of that…” JaeJoong looked sorry at him, as if he knew that YunHo didn’t would like what he was going to say. “You are stronger now than before, not as strong as a vampire, but you are stronger than a normal human, but you need to know how to fight and to defend yourself. And JunSu can help you with that.”
YunHo opened his mouth and closed it again, did he… did he really needed to learn how to fight? He? But he wasn’t a fighter, yet had he the courage to do it… “You can do it” said JaeJoong after he had heard his thoughts. “Why… why can’t you do it… Learning me to fight I mean” said YunHo somewhat nervous. He REALLY didn’t liked it to fight and he knew that it would be difficult for him to learn it, so he hoped that JaeJoong would be able to do it. But… JaeJoong shook his head. “I’m sorry YunHo, but… I’m afraid that I’m too weak now to do it. I even aren’t strong enough to carry you in my arms…” Oh! YunHo stared in shock at his mate and didn’t knew how to respond. “Okay” said he in a soft whisper. I accept JunSu’s help and do what I can to become stronger…” He still didn’t liked it, but he also knew that he needed to do it, for JaeJoong. And… maybe it as a good thing that he could help JaeJoong to take care of himself, he was really to dependent now… “Thank you” JaeJoong opened his arms for YunHo and placed a few soft kisses at his lips.
