JaeJoong slammed JungMin against the floor and launched himself to JungMin’s unprotected throat, not thinking and not remembering that the old JaeJoong would never have done this and forgetting that the old JaeJoong would be afraid if he had saw this with a other vampire. JaeJoong ignored JungMin’s scared screams, he ignored the shouting voices around him and he ignored the hands who were trying to pull him away from his prey. JaeJoong tried to bite in the hands who were irritating him but heard suddenly a voice in his ear, the voice was calming him. ”JaeJoong, stop. You’re hurting you friend JungMin, let him go.” JaeJoong was confused now that he had heard YunHo’s voice but hesitated, maybe would YunHo steal his prey from him… “JaeJoong, trust me” spoke YunHo again, this time louder, “you will regret it if you’re doing this.”
JaeJoong hesitated when he heard what YunHo said to him, did he knew this human? Was this human a friend from him? JaeJoong felt suddenly so confused, he was not sure what to do now, all his instincts were telling him to kill and to drink blood, human blood. But YunHo, his YunHo tried to convince him to not hurt the human, his pray. “JaeJoong, listen to me and let JungMin go, I promise you that you can drink all the blood you want, but not his.” JaeJoong was still hesitating, suddenly confused, why wanted YunHo so badly that he let go of the human? Wanted he his pray all for himself? JaeJoong had a hard time to concentrate on what YunHo said to him, he was hearing the hypnotizing sound from JungMin’s heartbeat all the time, distracting him… JaeJoong took a deep breath, trying to made his mind clear and did, hesitating, a step backwards, to YunHo and way from JungMin. He felt immediately how YunHo grabbed him by his arm and pulled him away from JungMin. JaeJoong saw also, as in a haze, how HyunJoong grabbed the human, trying to protect him. JaeJoong looked cautious at HyunJoong, not sure if he would trust the strange vampire in their home.
JaeJoong hissed when he saw that HyunJoong looked at him, he really didn’t trusted the vampire. He felt how YunHo pulled him further away from the two guests and showed JaeJoong where he had left the blood for JaeJoong. JaeJoong was at first confused, confused because he didn’t know himself anymore and because he didn’t know what would happen next. But when JaeJoong saw the delicious blood YunHo had brought for him he lost all his thoughts, he only could think about one thing, and that was the blood he saw before him. He walked slowly further into the room, his eyes fixed on the blood, he made a soft, growling sound… And then, without any warning, he stormed forward, to the blood and drank! He missed the relieved look in YunHo’s eyes and ignored HyunJoong and JungMin who tried to leave the house as fast as they could now that JaeJoong was distracted. The blood tasted better than anything he had ever tasted, better than any human food or drink on the world, he was addicted to it! JaeJoong didn’t know how much he had drunk, but when he stopped with drinking, he felt a little dizzy and light headed. “Yun? Where are you?” Called JaeJoong suddenly insecure and looked around him, but every time he moved his head he had the feeling that the whole room was spinning around him. “I’m here” spoke YunHo besides him and he felt how a pair of arms were lifting him up and he felt how YunHo carried him back to the bedroom. “Try to lie down for a little and you will feel better after a few minutes” spoke YunHo calmly and helped him to their bed.
A few days passed when JaeJoong was locked up in their house, he heard with his new ears how YunHo took care of JiJi, hidden for him. JaeJoong wasjealous of YunHo and wanted to see his own kitten but he know that YunHo was right, it was still too dangerous for JiJi to be around JaeJoong. He couldn’t describe what he felt, it was so strange… Sometimes he didn’t recognized himself when looked in the mirror, his thoughts were different than before and he had feelings he didn’t understand. But at the same time he realized that he had still his own personality and his feelings for YunHo were only stronger now. But JaeJoong was not happy. He hated it that he was so strong and fast now, he had almost broken the door, only because he had grabbed the door handle a little too fast. When he wanted to take one step forward he found himself on the other side of the room! JaeJoong hated it! He had never in his human life the desire to be better or stronger than a normal human, and now he was… He was a freak… JaeJoong signed for the again when he saw how YunHo looked at him. YunHo knew that JaeJoong was not happy, he knew that his mate found it difficult to adjust to his new life… But YunHo knew that this was a normal reaction, everything was strange and difficult for his mate, but when he had learned how to walk normal and to suppress his desire for blood, everything would be better for him.
One night, when JaeJoong tried to sleep a little he felt a burning pain in his back. He screamed and called for YunHo, total in panic he tried to look at his back and stiffened. He saw wings! “YUNHO!” Screamed JaeJoong in horror. “Don’t worry, they are yours now” answered YunHo when he entered the room. He smiled at JaeJoong, as if he saw something special before him. “What?! Why are you smiling? How can I hide them? I’m not going to fly anyway…” he looked up at YunHo and saw the hurtful look in his eyes. “Concentrate on you wings and tell them simply to hide on you back” YunHo left the room after he had told him what he needed to do and closed the door behind him. JaeJoong looked after YunHo and felt suddenly bad for YunHo, he was acting childish the whole time and YunHo tried to help him every time when he needed him… Was YunHo mad at him? Was YunHo happy that he had his own wings and disappointed that he didn’t wanted them? “YunHo! Wait!” Yelled JaeJoong and ran after his mate. But he ran to fast and before he knew it, he had made a hole in the door and ran after YunHo. “Yun, wait… I’m sorry… I didn’t want to hurt you… Please, teach me how to fly.” His voice trembled when he spoke, he didn’t liked it to fly and the memory he had from his last adventure on YunHo’s back was not a happy one… But he wanted to learn it, not for himself, but for YunHo because it was important for him.
“Are you sure about it?” YunHo sounded surprised because he know that JaeJoong didn’t liked it to fly as a human. He had hoped that JaeJoong had changed his mind about it when he had his own wings, but when he saw the look in JaeJoong’s eyes, he knew that he was wrong, JaeJoong sill didn’t like it. And he knew why JaeJoong had changed his mind so suddenly, only because of him. YunHo was happy that his mate cared for him and was ready to do something he really didn’t liked, but he was also worried. Learning how to fly was not easy, the younger vampire needed to trust his mate in case he fell. YunHo also didn’t wanted to force his mate to do this. “Yes, I want this… because it’s important and I need to learn more about my new life.” JaeJoong tried to smile at YunHo and hoped that it was not too scary, flying high in the sky and not in a airplane… “Follow me” YunHo smiled happy at his willing mate and took JaeJoong’s hand in his while he walked to the front door but stopped. “Jae, when we leave the house, it’s important that you stay with me, and tell it me when you have problems with controlling yourself. I can hold you, but please try to behave when we are outside.” JaeJoong stared at YunHo, suddenly insecure about the situation, he was afraid that he would do something he would regret later. He was afraid that he would attack a human again, just as he had attacked JungMin, his friend! “I- I’m not sure if I can…” he looked worried around him, trying to gather all his courage and walk besides YunHo and leave the house.
“I help you, try to concentrate on other things like my voice when we are outside, the sound of you own footsteps… Listen to everything around you besides heartbeats…” JaeJoong nodded and pressed himself closer against YunHo, as if he was a human again and needed his protection. But when he stepped outside, he realized that YunHo was taking a short route and before he knew it they were standing in the fresh air with a beautiful night sky above them. For the first time he felt really free now that he was standing with his new senses besides YunHo, with his new life! “What do I need to do?” Asked he a little unsure and looked again at his back where he saw his own wings. “Look at what I’m doing” said YunHo and pointed at his own wings who were now visible on his back. He flapped its wings like a bird and before JaeJoong could say something he saw that YunHo hovered a little above the ground. He stared surprised at YunHo, it looked so easy now YunHo was showing him how to fly. He repeated what YunHo did but realized that it was not that easy… His wings were stiff and moving them was strange. “I can’t do it” complained JaeJoong and stopped. “It’s too difficult! My wings are not as strong as you’re wings!” He looked at YunHo’s wings and back at his own wings, secretly relieved that he didn’t needed to fly immediately.
But just when he wanted to ask YunHo if they could do it another time he saw the hopeful look in YunHo’s eyes and decided to try it again. He tried to fly the next hour and he realized that it was becoming a little easier now that he had learned how to use his wings correctly. He fell a lot while trying to fly, but YunHo was always besides him to help him. But he didn’t succeeded to fly that day, his wings were tried and moving them was becoming difficult for him. “Let’s go home and try it tomorrow again, you’re tired and need rest.” YunHo smiled proud at JaeJoong and grabbed his hand. “You did it not bad for you first time and I’m sure that it will be easier when you try it tomorrow.” JaeJoong nodded but tried to not think about it, flying was still not his favorite thing to do, even if he made YunHo happy with it.
When JaeJoong and YunHo walked back to their home something happened. YunHo started to walk faster, as if he was in a hurry to go home. “Yun, what is it? Why are you walking so fast?” “Don’t worry, but I saw someone I don’t want you to meet here.” JaeJoong looked around him, curious why YunHo was suddenly so distracted but he saw no one he knew or someone who was looking at his mate. “Hurry” said YunHo stressed and started to walk even faster. “YunHo? Is that you?” Sounded a familiar voice from behind them. JaeJoong looked behind him, searching for the person who had called YunHo and heard how his mate cursed softly. But when JaeJoong saw the person who had called YunHo he stiffened. Besides a vampire stood his best friend, ChangMin! “JaeJoong! What are you doing here?” Called ChangMin and walked toward him. “Stop there!” Warned YunHo dangerous and looked at the vampire besides ChangMin. “Don’t come closer, I’m serious… Kanging, I have no time for you now.” But just when JaeJoong looked at his old best friend he heard it again, a human heartbeat…
JaeJoong licked across his lips and stared hungry at ChangMin, tired and very thirsty from his flying lesions. He wanted to take a step closer to ChangMin but stopped himself. “Yun, I need to go, now!” JaeJoong knew that he sounded desperate and when he looked at ChangMin he saw a confused, worried look in his eyes. “We’re leaving now” said YunHo and pulled JaeJoong with a little force away from his old friend and the vampire, Kanging. JaeJoong was still a little confused about the strange vampire, he wanted to know who he was and why YunHo reacted so strange. He also thought that he had heard that name before, but didn’t remember where and when. But he didn’t complained when YunHo had pulled him away from them, he was only relieved. If he had stayed any longer so close to ChangMin, a normal human he would have attacked his best friend! JaeJoong felt bad about himself, he didn’t wanted this… He was a danger for all the humans around him till he had learned to control himself… He wanted to talk with his best friend, he was curious what had happened to him. He was obviously with that vampire, Kanging, what made JaeJoong worry. If YunHo didn’t trusted that vampire, was his best friend then in good care with that vampire?
Luckily JaeJoong didn’t needed to wait long, when they entered their house YunHo faced him and signed. “You’re probably wondering what just happened… Do you remember that night when I told you to hide upstairs?” JaeJoong nodded, “we left that day and came to this place” answered JaeJoong slowly. “The vampire who visited us was Kanging, he has no respect for a normal human life and he is not a good friend of mine… But don’t worry, now that he has found his own mate I will think different about humans. ChangMin will be fine.” JaeJoong looked not happy at his mate, he didn’t liked it that his best friend was with a vampire who disrespected humans but he knew that it was impossible to do something about it. “Jae… I don’t want you to be alone with him, Kanging is a vampire who only loves himself and his status, he will not hesitate to use you for his own good. Do you understand me?” JaeJoong had never before heard YunHo sow serious about a other vampire and nodded, trusting YunHo, but still not happy that ChangMin was with him.
A few weeks passed while JaeJoong didn’t see his two friends, ChangMin and JungMin. He had trouble with concentrating, everything around him was still a little strange, his body moved still too fast and his senses were making him sometimes sick, all the strong smells around him, all the sounds he heard… But he realized that it was becoming easier to ignore all the things around him and to hold himself back. Even his flying lesions were easier now and he had learned to fly for a few minutes before he fell to the ground. But the fact that he was learning to fly was not making him happy, but YunHo’s smile, every time when he did it was making him happy. But there was one thing he wanted to do but couldn’t, and that was meeting ChangMin. YunHo saw that his mate missed his fried and did something he didn’t liked and that was meeting Kanging.
YunHo knocked on the door and waited till the other vampire opened the door for him. “YunHo, why are you here?” Asked Kanging not in a friendly way. “I come here for you mate, I want to talk to him about his best friend JaeJoong, my mate.” Kanging wanted to send YunHo away but before he could do that he heard ChangMin behind him. “Come in and tell me about JaeJoong.” Kanging didn’t looked happy but said nothing, respecting his mate. YunHo bowed for the two men and walked inside the house. “ChangMin, you don’t know me, but I know who you are. You’re probably wondering why JaeJoong is here, like you.” ChangMin nodded and sad down, waiting for YunHo to start explaining everything. When YunHo was done and had told ChangMin about his mate and what he now was he stopped. “I’m sorry for influencing you, but it was not safe for you to know where JaeJoong was and that he was with me. But JaeJoong is worried about you and want to talk with you, but he can’t… Not till he has learned to control his thirst around humans, he can’t stand close to you. Please, will you send JaeJoong a letter and talk to him?” YunHo hoped that ChangMin would do what he said. “I’m starting immediately and ask if Kanging will bring you the letter.” ChangMin looked at his mate, asking silently for his help. Kanging nodded but didn’t like it.

ChangMin looked after YunHo when he left the house and felt bad for JaeJoong. He was JaeJoong’s best friend and he was not besides him when he needed him the most… ChangMin signed and looked around him for a pen and paper and started writing.
Hi JaeJoong,
You mate has asked me to tell you what happened with me and because I can’t come near you I will write this letter for you.
When you left without telling me about it and not contacted me I started to worry about you. I have searched for you but when I didn’t find you I didn’t know what to do… One night, when I drove in my car, still looking for you I saw a man, standing alone in a dark corner. I didn’t saw his face, but I hoped that I had found you. When I left the car and called for you the man attacked me! He tried to kill me! But when the man looked at me, before he wanted to bite my neck, he stopped! I was terrified and started to scream for help. But the man stopped me, he placed his hand over my mouth and whispered something in my ear. What next happened I’m not sure, I think that I lost consciousness. When I awakened I found myself in a strange house and in a strange bed, with the man who had attacked me sitting next to me. He looked strange at me, as if he didn’t understand what I was doing here. I was afraid of him but didn’t dared it to move away from him.
He didn’t talked for a few days to me and observed me, as if he was trying to understand what I was doing here with him. He didn’t introduce himself or told me what I was doing there with him. I didn’t know what he wanted from me or if I was still in danger. But later, I don’t know how long I was there, he started to talk to me. The man told me his name, Kanging and that he was a vampire. He looked at me, as if he expected from me to run away from him, but I didn’t… I believed him! I don’t know why and if a other person had told me this I would think that that person was insane… But Kanging… I believed him… But even now that I believed him, I was still confused and I didn’t love him. He was still a stranger to me, a very dangerous stranger. Kanging was making it not easy for me to trust him and to fell in love with him, he was almost always in a bad mood and sometimes I thought that he didn’t liked it that I was near him, as if he was hoping that I was not real and that he has never met me before. It was hurting me to know that Kanging didn’t wanted me around him and I didn’t understand why I was feeling attracted to him.
Kanging eventually loosened a little bit and told me more about himself and how he had become a vampire. I learned that he was not a very friendly vampire and that he had not much respect for humans like me, so I really didn’t understand why he held me captive. Did he wanted something from me? Was I simply a toy to play with? Was he holding me, only to kill me later? Or was he enjoying my company? I really didn’t know and I was afraid to ask. One night, when I slept in my bedroom he woke me up, he told me that he was going to help us both. I didn’t understand what he meant but before I could ask he grabbed my arm, pulled me closer and he bite me! I screamed, thinking that he would kill me, that he was done with me and didn’t wanted me around him anymore. I felt how his fangs broke my skin, I felt how he drunk my blood… It was scary and I really thought that it was over now, that my live was over… I realized then that I didn’t wanted to die now, there were still so much tings I wanted to do in my live! But then, just when I wanted to give up, he stopped! My body felt strange, weak… I was too weak to move of scream more and could only look at Kanging. And then I saw it, Kanging didn’t wanted to kill me, he looked at me as if he… As if he was in love with me!
Form that day on everything chanced, Kanging was really nice to me and cared for me. And if I’m honest to you, I must say that I liked it! I knew that Kanging is really bad to other people and he is not a vampire you want to see angry, but I like it. I know that I sound strange and that you don’t know me like this, but don’t worry about me, I’m safe with him and he is taking good care of me. YunHo has told me that you didn’t liked it to be a vampire and that you have tried to avoid you destiny. But I’m different and I’m not afraid to be a vampire, I know that I’m safe with Kanging and that he would protect me. And as long as I’m with him it’s okay… So please don’t worry about me and come and visit me with YunHo when you are ready for it. I’m not leaving this place till I’m a vampire myself. I really hope that we can meet sometime and I know that you mate don’t like Kanging, so I can come to your place if you’re okay with it.
I ask Kanging now to deliver this letter to YunHo so you can read it and I hope we can see each other soon.

ChangMin folded the letter and gave it to Kanging. “Thank you for bringing this to JaeJoong” smiled ChangMin and waited for Kanging to come back.

YunHo accepted the letter Kanging gave him and thanked him for helping him. He called immediately for JaeJoong, happy to help his mate. He knew that JaeJoong was doing his best for him, to act and behave like a good vampire and mate, but he knew that JaeJoong had still troubles with accepting his new life, even now that he tried to hide it for him. YunHo hoped that JaeJoong was feeling a little better when he had heard something from ChangMin. He saw the serious look in JaeJoong’s eyes when his mate entered the room and gave him the letter ChangMin had wrote for him. When JaeJoong saw who had wrote the letter he smiled brightly at YunHo and hugged him thankfully and started reading the letter.
When he was done he looked happy at YunHo, happy that he had his friend back in his new life. And when he had learned to control himself he had not one friend back, but he had also JungMin as his new fried. He realized that his life as a vampire was not that bad as he had feared.

YunHo was happy that his mate cared for him and was ready to do something he really didn’t liked, but he was also worried. Learning how to fly was not easy, the younger vampire needed to trust his mate in case he fell. YunHo also didn’t wanted to force his mate to do this. “Yes, I want this… because it’s important and I need to learn more about my new life.” JaeJoong tried to smile at YunHo and hoped that it was not too scary, flying high in the sky and not in a airplane… “Follow me” YunHo smiled happy at his willing mate and took JaeJoong’s hand in his while he walked to the front door but stopped. “Jae, when we leave the house, it’s important that you stay with me, and tell it me when you have problems with controlling yourself. I can hold you, but please try to behave when we are outside.” JaeJoong stared at YunHo, suddenly insecure about the situation, he was afraid that he would do something he would regret later. He was afraid that he would attack a human again, just as he had attacked JungMin, his friend! “I- I’m not sure if I can…” he looked worried around him, trying to gather all his courage and walk besides YunHo and leave the house.
“I help you, try to concentrate on other things like my voice when we are outside, the sound of you own footsteps… Listen to everything around you besides heartbeats…” JaeJoong nodded and pressed himself closer against YunHo, as if he was a human again and needed his protection. But when he stepped outside, he realized that YunHo was taking a short route and before he knew it they were standing in the fresh air with a beautiful night sky above them. For the first time he felt really free now that he was standing with his new senses besides YunHo, with his new life! “What do I need to do?” Asked he a little unsure and looked again at his back where he saw his own wings. “Look at what I’m doing” said YunHo and pointed at his own wings who were now visible on his back. He flapped its wings like a bird and before JaeJoong could say something he saw that YunHo hovered a little above the ground. He stared surprised at YunHo, it looked so easy now YunHo was showing him how to fly. He repeated what YunHo did but realized that it was not that easy… His wings were stiff and moving them was strange. “I can’t do it” complained JaeJoong and stopped. “It’s too difficult! My wings are not as strong as you’re wings!” He looked at YunHo’s wings and back at his own wings, secretly relieved that he didn’t needed to fly immediately.
But just when he wanted to ask YunHo if they could do it another time he saw the hopeful look in YunHo’s eyes and decided to try it again. He tried to fly the next hour and he realized that it was becoming a little easier now that he had learned how to use his wings correctly. He fell a lot while trying to fly, but YunHo was always besides him to help him. But he didn’t succeeded to fly that day, his wings were tried and moving them was becoming difficult for him. “Let’s go home and try it tomorrow again, you’re tired and need rest.” YunHo smiled proud at JaeJoong and grabbed his hand. “You did it not bad for you first time and I’m sure that it will be easier when you try it tomorrow.” JaeJoong nodded but tried to not think about it, flying was still not his favorite thing to do, even if he made YunHo happy with it.
When JaeJoong and YunHo walked back to their home something happened. YunHo started to walk faster, as if he was in a hurry to go home. “Yun, what is it? Why are you walking so fast?” “Don’t worry, but I saw someone I don’t want you to meet here.” JaeJoong looked around him, curious why YunHo was suddenly so distracted but he saw no one he knew or someone who was looking at his mate. “Hurry” said YunHo stressed and started to walk even faster. “YunHo? Is that you?” Sounded a familiar voice from behind them. JaeJoong looked behind him, searching for the person who had called YunHo and heard how his mate cursed softly. But when JaeJoong saw the person who had called YunHo he stiffened. Besides a vampire stood his best friend, ChangMin! “JaeJoong! What are you doing here?” Called ChangMin and walked toward him. “Stop there!” Warned YunHo dangerous and looked at the vampire besides ChangMin. “Don’t come closer, I’m serious… Kanging, I have no time for you now.” But just when JaeJoong looked at his old best friend he heard it again, a human heartbeat…
JaeJoong licked across his lips and stared hungry at ChangMin, tired and very thirsty from his flying lesions. He wanted to take a step closer to ChangMin but stopped himself. “Yun, I need to go, now!” JaeJoong knew that he sounded desperate and when he looked at ChangMin he saw a confused, worried look in his eyes. “We’re leaving now” said YunHo and pulled JaeJoong with a little force away from his old friend and the vampire, Kanging. JaeJoong was still a little confused about the strange vampire, he wanted to know who he was and why YunHo reacted so strange. He also thought that he had heard that name before, but didn’t remember where and when. But he didn’t complained when YunHo had pulled him away from them, he was only relieved. If he had stayed any longer so close to ChangMin, a normal human he would have attacked his best friend! JaeJoong felt bad about himself, he didn’t wanted this… He was a danger for all the humans around him till he had learned to control himself… He wanted to talk with his best friend, he was curious what had happened to him. He was obviously with that vampire, Kanging, what made JaeJoong worry. If YunHo didn’t trusted that vampire, was his best friend then in good care with that vampire?
Luckily JaeJoong didn’t needed to wait long, when they entered their house YunHo faced him and signed. “You’re probably wondering what just happened… Do you remember that night when I told you to hide upstairs?” JaeJoong nodded, “we left that day and came to this place” answered JaeJoong slowly. “The vampire who visited us was Kanging, he has no respect for a normal human life and he is not a good friend of mine… But don’t worry, now that he has found his own mate I will think different about humans. ChangMin will be fine.” JaeJoong looked not happy at his mate, he didn’t liked it that his best friend was with a vampire who disrespected humans but he knew that it was impossible to do something about it. “Jae… I don’t want you to be alone with him, Kanging is a vampire who only loves himself and his status, he will not hesitate to use you for his own good. Do you understand me?” JaeJoong had never before heard YunHo sow serious about a other vampire and nodded, trusting YunHo, but still not happy that ChangMin was with him.
A few weeks passed while JaeJoong didn’t see his two friends, ChangMin and JungMin. He had trouble with concentrating, everything around him was still a little strange, his body moved still too fast and his senses were making him sometimes sick, all the strong smells around him, all the sounds he heard… But he realized that it was becoming easier to ignore all the things around him and to hold himself back. Even his flying lesions were easier now and he had learned to fly for a few minutes before he fell to the ground. But the fact that he was learning to fly was not making him happy, but YunHo’s smile, every time when he did it was making him happy. But there was one thing he wanted to do but couldn’t, and that was meeting ChangMin. YunHo saw that his mate missed his fried and did something he didn’t liked and that was meeting Kanging.
YunHo knocked on the door and waited till the other vampire opened the door for him. “YunHo, why are you here?” Asked Kanging not in a friendly way. “I come here for you mate, I want to talk to him about his best friend JaeJoong, my mate.” Kanging wanted to send YunHo away but before he could do that he heard ChangMin behind him. “Come in and tell me about JaeJoong.” Kanging didn’t looked happy but said nothing, respecting his mate. YunHo bowed for the two men and walked inside the house. “ChangMin, you don’t know me, but I know who you are. You’re probably wondering why JaeJoong is here, like you.” ChangMin nodded and sad down, waiting for YunHo to start explaining everything. When YunHo was done and had told ChangMin about his mate and what he now was he stopped. “I’m sorry for influencing you, but it was not safe for you to know where JaeJoong was and that he was with me. But JaeJoong is worried about you and want to talk with you, but he can’t… Not till he has learned to control his thirst around humans, he can’t stand close to you. Please, will you send JaeJoong a letter and talk to him?” YunHo hoped that ChangMin would do what he said. “I’m starting immediately and ask if Kanging will bring you the letter.” ChangMin looked at his mate, asking silently for his help. Kanging nodded but didn’t like it.

ChangMin looked after YunHo when he left the house and felt bad for JaeJoong. He was JaeJoong’s best friend and he was not besides him when he needed him the most… ChangMin signed and looked around him for a pen and paper and started writing.
Hi JaeJoong,
You mate has asked me to tell you what happened with me and because I can’t come near you I will write this letter for you.
When you left without telling me about it and not contacted me I started to worry about you. I have searched for you but when I didn’t find you I didn’t know what to do… One night, when I drove in my car, still looking for you I saw a man, standing alone in a dark corner. I didn’t saw his face, but I hoped that I had found you. When I left the car and called for you the man attacked me! He tried to kill me! But when the man looked at me, before he wanted to bite my neck, he stopped! I was terrified and started to scream for help. But the man stopped me, he placed his hand over my mouth and whispered something in my ear. What next happened I’m not sure, I think that I lost consciousness. When I awakened I found myself in a strange house and in a strange bed, with the man who had attacked me sitting next to me. He looked strange at me, as if he didn’t understand what I was doing here. I was afraid of him but didn’t dared it to move away from him.
He didn’t talked for a few days to me and observed me, as if he was trying to understand what I was doing here with him. He didn’t introduce himself or told me what I was doing there with him. I didn’t know what he wanted from me or if I was still in danger. But later, I don’t know how long I was there, he started to talk to me. The man told me his name, Kanging and that he was a vampire. He looked at me, as if he expected from me to run away from him, but I didn’t… I believed him! I don’t know why and if a other person had told me this I would think that that person was insane… But Kanging… I believed him… But even now that I believed him, I was still confused and I didn’t love him. He was still a stranger to me, a very dangerous stranger. Kanging was making it not easy for me to trust him and to fell in love with him, he was almost always in a bad mood and sometimes I thought that he didn’t liked it that I was near him, as if he was hoping that I was not real and that he has never met me before. It was hurting me to know that Kanging didn’t wanted me around him and I didn’t understand why I was feeling attracted to him.
Kanging eventually loosened a little bit and told me more about himself and how he had become a vampire. I learned that he was not a very friendly vampire and that he had not much respect for humans like me, so I really didn’t understand why he held me captive. Did he wanted something from me? Was I simply a toy to play with? Was he holding me, only to kill me later? Or was he enjoying my company? I really didn’t know and I was afraid to ask. One night, when I slept in my bedroom he woke me up, he told me that he was going to help us both. I didn’t understand what he meant but before I could ask he grabbed my arm, pulled me closer and he bite me! I screamed, thinking that he would kill me, that he was done with me and didn’t wanted me around him anymore. I felt how his fangs broke my skin, I felt how he drunk my blood… It was scary and I really thought that it was over now, that my live was over… I realized then that I didn’t wanted to die now, there were still so much tings I wanted to do in my live! But then, just when I wanted to give up, he stopped! My body felt strange, weak… I was too weak to move of scream more and could only look at Kanging. And then I saw it, Kanging didn’t wanted to kill me, he looked at me as if he… As if he was in love with me!
Form that day on everything chanced, Kanging was really nice to me and cared for me. And if I’m honest to you, I must say that I liked it! I knew that Kanging is really bad to other people and he is not a vampire you want to see angry, but I like it. I know that I sound strange and that you don’t know me like this, but don’t worry about me, I’m safe with him and he is taking good care of me. YunHo has told me that you didn’t liked it to be a vampire and that you have tried to avoid you destiny. But I’m different and I’m not afraid to be a vampire, I know that I’m safe with Kanging and that he would protect me. And as long as I’m with him it’s okay… So please don’t worry about me and come and visit me with YunHo when you are ready for it. I’m not leaving this place till I’m a vampire myself. I really hope that we can meet sometime and I know that you mate don’t like Kanging, so I can come to your place if you’re okay with it.
I ask Kanging now to deliver this letter to YunHo so you can read it and I hope we can see each other soon.

ChangMin folded the letter and gave it to Kanging. “Thank you for bringing this to JaeJoong” smiled ChangMin and waited for Kanging to come back.

YunHo accepted the letter Kanging gave him and thanked him for helping him. He called immediately for JaeJoong, happy to help his mate. He knew that JaeJoong was doing his best for him, to act and behave like a good vampire and mate, but he knew that JaeJoong had still troubles with accepting his new life, even now that he tried to hide it for him. YunHo hoped that JaeJoong was feeling a little better when he had heard something from ChangMin. He saw the serious look in JaeJoong’s eyes when his mate entered the room and gave him the letter ChangMin had wrote for him. When JaeJoong saw who had wrote the letter he smiled brightly at YunHo and hugged him thankfully and started reading the letter.
When he was done he looked happy at YunHo, happy that he had his friend back in his new life. And when he had learned to control himself he had not one friend back, but he had also JungMin as his new fried. He realized that his life as a vampire was not that bad as he had feared.
