Theft
Okay. I've been gone workin' on the technology packets. One of the people who came to help was with Tigercard, and he came in sayin' something about having to deal with an emergency, a major theft that happened in the music department! I soon found out, muych to my horror, that during lunch, while all teh piano students here for piano camp and Dr. True were gone, someone came in and stole a LOT fo stuff! Like, I heard compter, credit cards, cash...all gone. It's horrible. What makes it worse, is that it happened now...and the practice rooms have all been locked up until today when piano camp started. Which means, someone had to have known that they would be unlocked now...implying an inside job...and THAT worries me. Who woudl do that!?
Update: Sutton just came by: It was $40, 2 debit cards (already cancelled!) and Dr. True's computer. It happened within 25 minutes. Whoever did it KNEW they were gone and was in and out. And to think, had I decided to go visit on my lunch break, I could have caught them {shudders at what consequences that could have done...}
Anyways, I am extremely upset on this attack on I guess what would qualify as "my" department (well, it is where I spend the most of my time, good thing for a music major)....and especially since it happened to my stuido and friends and good teacher.
Another note: Dr. True's computer contained all her information for her chance at full proffesorship. Coincidence that it was stolen? {leave that open, shuddering}
And...all this occurred in the CHAPEL of all places!
It is a bad day.
