PR's all over the place!
I did my first 5k the other day. I still walked portions of course, but made it under 40 minutes. (39:20 I think it was). It was on that nice trail at the park. I think my average mile was around 13 min or so. (It used to be closer to 14min). And guess what, today my fastest mile was 12:48! yay. fastest mile ever, well since 8th grade. I'm getting there, slowly but surely.
Day 5 consisted of 3 five minute running intervals, split up by 3 min of walking. Not so bad. I think W5D2 will have some 8 min running intervals. I did make it up to 7 min today at one point when a good song came on :)
Once I work up to running for 12-13ish minutes, I will actually be able to run a full mile. Oh my! I haven't done that in years, 'tis exciting.

My heart rate got a little high there at the end. Again, it was that good song & wanting to finish well (with a faster time).
