Calories: 377 cal
Music: MIA-Arular (Decided I needed something new!)
Nike Plus got all confused when I put the pedometer in my pocket...
It thinks today is 12/31. However, it says I did 2.3 miles (which is conceivable as I kept walking after my C25k program ended, since I still had to get home!) It only thinks I burned 320 calories and says
Average heart rate was 156bpm and highest was 172!!! Yay. I worked out harder this time & it got up to 180 last time. Glad my heart & lungs are getting stronger at least :)
Observations: Wow. Sidewalk is much easier. I ran extra time on a couple of the intervals and a couple times during the cool down period. Dare I say there were even moments when it told me to walk & felt like jogging a bit longer? Exhilerating! I tried out the compression tights & they rock. I felt all svelte lol. It was a bit warm though, sheesh. Next time I might wear shorts over them instead of pants. And I need to find a different set-up for the cellphone. The jacket is great because of pockets but it was too warm for the jacket..and even if it wasn't, I hate how one pocket gets all weighed down & then I feel like my posture is all off balance. I need to figure out something for the pedometer too. I dont have the special Nike shoes, so I put it in a ziploc bag & tried to attach that to my shoe strings. It started falling off & then my shoes came untied and ARGH. While the pedometer stuff was inconclusive today, I will find a way. I shall prevail! :) And I'm looking forward to W2D3 - I think it will be colder outside then, which might be more comfortable.
