W1D3 Accomplished!

Long past are the days of the 1600 meter race in junior high school track. I somehow loved those days of races in the icy rain. Don't ask me how. Coaches forced us to discard our sweats & run in shorts. Ahhh. I never thought I'd suffer through the elements again but hooray. I just did. It was jogging & walking this time, but still. I'll get there. I'm amazed my time was faster (according to the normal app I use) than in warmer temperatures. Perhaps I kicked it into higher gear in order to stay warm. It worked!

Pace: 15:53 min/mile (walked back to the house to get an extra jacket, lots of starts & stops while I looked through my closet, did like a a 12 min warm up instead of 5 min warm up walk on accident as my other app was paused by mistake! this accounts for slower pace I assume)
