You want to know what happened at my date on Thursday? Nothing much, thank Dende. I picked her up at 8pm at her house and we decided on a nice Chinese restaurant to eat at. We talked for a while, but I left most of the talking to her. She rambled on about different things, like family, school, and the antics of her country friends. I wasn't paying much attention, I had my mind on other things. I know we went to a movie after the meal, but I don't remember what we saw. I didn't watch it. I kept thinking about Vez and that Vidar guy.
Friday morning, while training, I tried to talk to Vez about Vidar. All I got in response was the same thing she told everyone else in her journal. I pressed further and she returned with evasive answers or silence. She cut our training short and started for home. Before she left I asked her to call me once that Vidar guy left that evening. She asked why and I told her I was concerned about her. I waited for her call, but it never came. She either forgot, or she just didn't want to talk to me.
Honestly, I don't trust Vidar. Yeah, maybe he does have some feeling for Vez, but I think there's some more there. Like he wants something else from Vez. Several things about the guy really bother me. One of which is what kind of guy gives up on the woman he says he loves? When Vez took off after that Grukky guy (whatever his name was), he abandoned her. If he really loved her he should have followed to save her. I'd rather die trying to save someone I love than turn my back on them. I wouldn't want to live the rest of my life without them and with the thought that there might have been something I could have done. Besides, Vez has told him numerous times that she is not interested in him anymore. Can't he take no for an answer?
