bigger than i could ever be alone...
Some quick updates before my meeting...
Today my little brother goes into rehab. It's sad that he got this far, but at least we are getting him help and he knows he needs it. Otherwise it would still be the same downward path and we were all getting worried. I'll have to adjust my animal shelter schedule because I have to pick up the evening visiting tomorrow and several times a week until he gets out. That's how it goes in my family. We are there everyday. So someone has to be there. I'll be the only one seeing him his first full day in so we'll see how that goes...
And you guessed it, a RARE update!!!! Today is the charitable contributions committee that will decide if RARE gets the charitable request I sponsored. Oh I am so nervous!!!!
I get to call after 2:00 and find out. Let's hope because that will be big for them!! More than I could ever do alone. And that is my main thrust for the event and the contribution request, pulling everyone from all directions to say let's raise awareness and get together and do something big, bigger than I could ever do alone.
I am a very "action" person!
I think someone called me a "peppy goth" yeah peppy... I'll take that over suicidal and melancholy and woe is me!!!
