Fully awake and functional (or near enough) as of 1000. Not entirely so 5 or 10 minutes ago - Kerner's wanted a urine specimen (which has been put off since the 7. or 9., I've been too under the weather since), and I tore the bag, groggily misreading the instructions (the tear is for whichever tech pulls the cup out, the bag itself is a zippered bag, oops).

I am, at least, awake well before noon. I may only have gotten to bed, and fallen asleep soon after, perhaps 0230, better than I could have hoped, but as of sometime after 0900 (0930 perhaps), I was fairly conscious. Kat sent a St. Patrick's text message, which caused my phone to jar me somewhat conscious with a somewhat harsh ring, but my alarm would have gone off at 1000 otherwise (and 1200 - I was being very generous to my poor tired brain!).

Bagel with cream cheese - plain Thomas', stick Philly cheese (a 6 pack from Sam's, Heather likes the stick spread, though I prefer the whipped, in terms of better health - though I should try to compare in order to see which actually offers less fat with standard applications of cheese) - and a cup of French Roast (Starbuck's, this one, though there may be some Green Mountain FR still mixed in).

The plan, so far, is to rouse Nicole, so that when I drop the specimen off at Kerner's, I can continue to Hopewell without needless backtracking. From there, we can get to the GameStop (whichever one it is). To save a trip to the ATM, I may pick up something, so I can do cash back on my debit card - I probably need a few singles to return the one DVD to the library, whence I can pick up a few more books for Heather and I.

That probably amounts to the only things that I need to do today, so after finishing with the limited itinerary, Heather needing the car for work only later (after 1600ish), I'll probably go over Blasphemy with Nicole, and pitch some of the other ideas I've jotted down recently. Since the plan amounts to minimizing time from the moment I walk out the door, and by the time we're back in Fishkill I'll probably just want to get home to rest, this'll probably be here - I may wind up napping, but Nicole should be fine. If nothing else, she can probably enjoy DDR.

At some point, I need to tackle (and it'll hurt me more than them) the LLC tax forms. Ideally, as of 2008's tax year, there will actually be money in DGS, to warrant effort on taxes (and hence a paid preparer, I expect).

To ensure that I don't lose ideas - as I have lost very many - I've been keeping a notepad by me: since the Council dinner, that's been just by the bed, on the dresser, although it's hardly a new concept, simply one I'm trying to enforce in a semi-orderly fashion. I've kept notes - simple data, or whimsical ideas - in the past, but often on scraps of paper which I then lose. The Palm has been useful, but since claiming Aubrey's (which she hadn't used for years), I have yet to get back to using it as I once did (working on it).

Since I've been gearing up to it, I'll probably get some Python work done on Alex's MUD code. I need to get back to practicing with the SVN server, anyway, and since the code changes to the MUD should be fairly non-invasive but quite productive (logging code, both to console and file, with perhaps email on criticals; and messaging code between users), it should be good. I may be coherent enough to be able to follow that up with some of the DB code I've been meaning to do, specifically media library and food/health tracking. Part of the problem there is that I confuse myself in creating a wholly consistent and powerful DB scheme - if I implement just the necessary data (for the time) and write up the related code, I should be able to get it done (just, of course, with a very unpolished UI).

Beyond that, housework, going over meal plans, tending to critters, and probably, writing up notes for the meeting thing this Saturday (TBI support group, we're working under the assumption that they can give us some pointers as far as what to do about me, and disability), and the like.

(As far as this itself - I'm writing this up in OneNote, ideally daily, so I can actually keep track of myself (as funny as that sounds). I may not be posting it to LJ daily, although that is sort of the point of having the LJ account (so, now and then). I expect, if nothing else, that it'll assist in focusing my often scattered attention, serving more or less the same purpose for my thoughts and ideas as the notepad above.)

(And, as of 1030, finished eating, typing this up, and a couple other sundry things. Not so bad.)
