I guess some people will do anything to get google ad money

I was reading some of the comments following the newest Friday ratings post over at tvbythenumbers and stumbled over a reference to someone named Reilly apparently dissing SPN in favor of Fringe. So naturally I googled it and came up with this site. Not that that did much to enlighten me.

At Tuesday’s FOX TCA Press Day, network exec Kevin Reilly scoffed during a thought which “Fringe” competence be in difficulty in a Friday timeslot, observant which upon Fridays, a foe isn’t scarcely as extreme as it competence be elsewhere. Yes, right, umm....

The text moves on to other brilliant quotes like:“We have been anticipating all [the] fans hang with it even if a DVR use goes up
a small some-more upon Fridays,” and “It’s a illusory show, as good as overtly I’d be heartbroken if it went away.”...

The whole text looks like it was taken through Google translate, translated to Russian, then into Chinese and then Italien before being translated back again. Absolute gobbledegook. Of course this isn't the real story. That's found here at zap2it, written in a language a bit more understandable.

I have to admit, I don't see where abelavista is going with this. The zap2it story isn't the only one it's highjacked and made into rubbish, but apart from stolen news stories it's only got ads on its site. Maybe it's a more fancy ad-holding site, like those that always show up when you type the name of a website wrong, but since it obviously isn't a parody site I hope some of the big corporations that's had their news highjacked will go after it. Financially speaking I think they eventually will have to. It was the first site to come up on Google just above the real one, and Google position do matter. And the less crap on the net the better. At least when it shows up in my search results.

At least now I know to stay clear of anything called Abelavista. Even if the name does make me nostalgic for the old days where Google was still something kids would say when they couldn't pronounce uncle and the best search engine was called Altavista. Then again, that was also the time when black was the preferred background color on websites with dark blue fonts, and horrible music would blast out of your speakers upon entering the site if you dared surf when them turned on.

And as for the Reilly comments? I guess we'll see which show will get renewed next year.
