Slashed has gone LIVE!
circejd and I finally got our fingers out of a certain place the sun don't shine and have launched our new review community fic_slashed, which is where we are going to try our hand at reviewing slashfic, mainly Dean/Castiel and Sherlock/Watson to begin with. This is not done so we can be cruel to people writing badfic (well, it's not the only reason ;-)), but with a hope that we can be helpful in steering readers towards some of the really well-written fic out there that really deserves the attention and away from the really bad stuff. At the same time we do hope that the open-minded writer might read our reviews so that next time she sits down to write a fic, she might have gotten a little help from our reviews on what to focus on to make her fic that bit better. Or she might print out our reviews and do a little ceremonial dance while she burns them. That's alright too. Excercise is supposed to work wonders on your creativity.
