So I rescheduled this weeks drum practice so that I could try the OTHER teacher and decide which I liked better. Well this one actually seemed to care about the fact that I am paying alot of money to be there and really focused on the basics so that I can get out of some bad habits. I think the first one just wanted me to "have fun" so he put me on the drum set right away. I felt like I didn't belong there though, and this teacher is more focused on making sure I get the basics first. We'll see how it pans out, but I feel alot better now that I have a teacher who seems to want to teach instead of hang out on my dollar.
The next money thing is the big kicker, I am going to buy a Roland HD-1. Money where my mouth is right??
