Perhaps what he meant by "six more weeks o' winter!" was just six more weeks of the weather we've had since October. We had a whopping 48 hours of winter. I blinked and missed it and hey look! It's spring.
My neighborhood is alive with color!
Also, a lady in 1949 wore this dress, probably to her wedding. This time next week, I will be wearing it to prom.
