hm. note to self: tomorrow is my mothers birthday. her fiancee forgot about it (as he has the past two years) and she doesnt want me to mention it because she's going to do it cruelly so he'll feel bad. keith doesnt even know about it because we didnt tell him as he does not have the money for a present and he'll feel bad which we dont want because keith just kicks ass. not to mention that he'll go buy her a present anyway. we're already trying to figure out how to avoid him spending money on us for christmas.
hm. chocolate milk is good. another upside to having keith here is that he does the grocery shopping since he's cooking. and according to him, chocolate milk is a vital food staple.
ok, I am freaking freezing! I mean, I realize that I'm a reptile, but has anyone in my family ever heard of heat, for christs sake? apparently not. keith said that when he went to go get the chocolate milk (hehe, he went to 7-11 because alan drank all the chocolate milk and I didnt get any. he sure is sweet. ^^) the roads were really bad, slick and icy. granted, this is from a nevada standpoint (vegas and the desert, not the mountains) so he may be exaggerating. but he also said that it was some of the worst that he'd ever driven on, and he lived in massachusetts for a while, and I know they get heavy storms.
I was going to post my paper for you guys to beta for me, but by now I probably wouldnt get anything back in time anyway. I'll post it someday, I swear. I'm just being lazy right now. however,
pipsi_stick said it was good. and my mom started crying too and wants me to save a copy of it for my special box. however, I discovered that it had been in size 10 font. so it is now 3 1/2 pages. but I couldnt cut anything, because that would ruin it, so mr. senkowkow is just going to have to live with it being 1 1/2 pages longer than it was supposed to be godamnit!
whoah. just checked the weather chanel, and apparently theres another storm system headed our way. the snow's gonna stop around midnight, and then pick up again tomorrow. so theres gonna be loads of cancelled flights/closed highways right in time for thanksgiving. however, maybe winter coming early this year means that it will leave early. but it has to snow on my birthday (april 4th) because it has every year, including the year that I was born. last year we even got a snow day for it. hehe, we had a science test that day that everyone was freaking out for, and I'm just like, yeah, you can study this weekend. we're gonna have a snow day tomorrow. because I could feel that we were going to have a blizzard and we did. took them 3 days to clear the roads. we almost didnt have school the following monday because it snowed all day that sunday too. remember that, emily? taylor actually gave me $2 for "postponing the test." I felt special.
hm. crashed into alex mayer twice today. like, how they do in the movies when both people go flying backwards and drop everything they're holding. the first time was in chemistry. I had been turned around talking to stephanie, and he had been turned around talking to steve. and we walked straight into eachother. the second time was on my way from chemistry to math. his girlfriend (the monkey homewrecker- long story) has her second hour right next to mine, and he always goes to talk to her. and I guess he was leaving to go to his class, because I turned a corner and went crashing into him again. however, this time neither of us landed on the floor. I went backwards into the wall, and he went backwards into the monkey. we both thought it was kind of funny, but the monkey was rather upset. I dont think she was mad that I knocked him into her, but that I seemed to know him fairly well. kind of the jealous, possessive type. hm. I wonder how there relationship came to be? I mean, there both in band, but she's a senior. and he's a freshmen. (and he's a foot taller than she is. that will never cease to amuse me). I had to laugh, because as I apoligized (while laughing) and walked away, I heard a bit of their conversation. it basically went like this:
monkey: who was that?
alex: I gotta go, I'll see you later. *moves to hug/kiss* (I'm guessing from the way it sounded. yes I was eavesdropping. at least I wasnt watching.)
monkey: *pushes back* (also guessing) alex, who was that?
alex: just a girl
monkey: well obviously. but how do you know her?
alex: school.
monkey: alex.....
alex: she's in my chemistry class. we had classes together last year.
monkey: oh. well, what was so funny about her running into you?
alex: the exact same thing happened about 20 minutes ago.
monkey: oh
*one minute bell rings*
alex: I gotta go.
and then I left because I also had to get to my class. but that conversation amused me to no end. however, I'm going to ask everyone who read that and goes to heritage to keep a code of silence. I dont want to seem like a shifty eavesdropping person. but I really would have heard most of that anyway- they were talking pretty loud and it always takes me a while to negotiate that part of the hallway.
anyways, I should probably get myself to bed. night everybody!
