just sat how to make it right and i swear ill do my best to comply
i just got an email letting me know they hired someone else for an assistant position i interviewed for last friday. i did, however, get a job with the convention bureau. basically, i would be working the registration desk for conventions. its on call, and if cant/dont want to work then i dont have to. the shifts are really long though, so i would have to figure out something to do with mckenzie.
valentine's day was really great! i got patrick tickets to death cab for cutie in may and he got me sweat pants (because i always steal his), mastermind (a game that we played in maryland and i loved), and ant farm ( a hilarious book by simon rich). we went to dinner at cabana and it was delicious! the famous couples throughout history party was interesting. only 3 couples dressed up. patrick and i as tobias and lindsay funke from arrested development, heath and kari as heath and jake in brokeback mountain, and andrew and anna as dereck and avril. i must have had a good time though, because sunday i had a massive hangover to show for it. i dont care what anyone says, patrone is just as gross as every other shot of tequila i have done.
this weekend is patrick's birthday, and im really excited! i love birthdays! i get almost as excited as i do for my own.
